[SOLD] FS: Euro Spec S2 Elise Shell, SF Bay Area (perfect for K20 swap!)
I was planning to do a K20a conversion with this shell and utilize it as a track car, but I just don't have the time to work on it. It has been sitting in the garage for the past few months collecting dust so I decided to just post it up for sale. It is a complete shell, only missing engine, tranny, ecu, and harness (ready for a k20 swap), and a few interior bits like climate control knobs and whatnot. However, the car does not have a vin/title because it was imported as a gray market vehicle from Europe (I have authentic blank lotus vin tags that will come with the car). The car is clean inside and out, and the chassis is in great shape, no accidents. Although the car has no vin tags, there is a couple of different methods to register the car and drive it on the street, but I can go further into detail for those interested in purchasing the shell.
This car is the perfect candidate for a K20'd Track Lotus. If you do some research, the Federal Elise (US Spec Elise) utilizes a Toyota motor and is mounted in such a way that a K20 conversion is a major headache. However, K20 swaps have been done all across Europe for many years and they utilize the early Euro Version Lotus Elise. Also, the shell has a set of Bilstein Coilovers installed and also comes with an oem hardtop. The body is in good shape, minus a small fracture up front, which can easily be covered up with a front lip. This car is a MY02 Elise imported from Italy, with the Alcantara Interior. Looking to get $11,000 for the shell, plus all the spare parts and panels that came with it. ![]() ![]() PM me if you have any further questions or are interested in the vehicle. NOT looking to ship the car, buyer will be responsible for picking up the shell and towing it home/wherever they plan to work on it. The car is located in San Francisco.

hey do you still have an extra set of wheels other than the black ones..... I would still like to try to see if those (black ones) would fit... or if you had other black wheels...

Hi
Interested in your Elise . Have just been talking with Sunspeed re conversion to E20 for a track only car . One small problem , contacting you from New Zealand . Will be buying sight unseen. Can you send more detailed pictures of of engine bay / cockpit / wheels / suspension etc . If purchased would you be able to help with delivery of the car to a local freight yard ? Thanks Barry |

Will look forward to seeing more pictures .
Have purchased several cars USA & UK sight unseen . Hopefully the pics will reveal all that I need to know. With regards to freight , could most likely get freight company to pick up from your door, would this be OK ? |

that may be an option, I will let you know. I am stuck in the office right now, but I will try to snap some pics later.. I have a night class from 7pm-10pm and then I have to study for an exam tomorrow. If I am not able to get pics up by tonight, I'm sorry. I will get them posted up tomorrow if that's the case.

depends on how far and what form of freight.. I wouldn't be able to tell off the top of my head, but I know that it will probably range from about $500-$1500

sorry for the delay of pics fellas, I seem to have misplaced the keys
so I can't open the hatch to snap some pics. When I find the keys, I'll be sure to take plenty of pics and post them up. ![]()
