CK Lim's GTR front clam!

I think it's the best looking front clam I've ever seen for the Elise S2/S3 and Exige S/V6! I have no affiliation with him but I know first hand of his quality work in Malaysia. This is a complete front clam, not just the front bumper, which is why it costs $2500 plus shipping. It's the shipping part that can be lowered with a group buy. If you have more questions you can contact him through Facebook under "CK Lim"

I think it looks too much like a McLaren.

My thoughts exactly, with the exception of the "too much" part.

Will this fit on a 2006?

It definitely looks very McLaren. I think it will only fit 2011+ cars due to the headlight shape.

According to CK "This is a complete replacement clam and not a add-on attachment. The above is the first completed car and we are working on the Elise S2 and Exige V6s. They is not much difference in the looks between the S2s (Elise n Exige ) and the the S3s but the Exige V6 is just a bit wider. There is even an Evora version done with a replacement bumper."

Looks okay in and of itself, but it's much too angular to coordinate with the curvy lines of the rest of the body. Kind of odd that he chose to reproduce the Elise seam line...

I actually like the seam line. Without it, it looks too kit car-ish imo

Making a car look like something it isn't is just usually a bad idea. I would have to see this in person to really make a judgment, but I feel like doing the Lotus style GT3 front clam would have been more widely appreciated - I know I would be interested in that. Or does he already make one?

Personally style will dictate who purchases this.

Is it just me, or does anyone else not like Mclaren's front?
A lot of the motoring world likes it, but i cant find many features im okay with, if any...again personal preference.

The work done here looks exceptional...regardless of my personal taste.

Looks like excellent quality, a bit too "busy" for my taste, but to each their own.

Personally, I love McLaren's styling. The front end of their cars have this insane-looking smile to it, like they're saying "go ahead, try it."

All-in-all, British styling is under-rated IMO...

I have CKLims wide body fenders for the Exige and the fitment is perfect. The quality of the fenders was great, the shop that painted them regularly installs rocket bunny and liberty walk kits and said the quality of the CKLim fenders is/was better.

That's awesome, but I mean the install for a Liberty Walk kit is pretty easy... remove from packaging and throw directly into the nearest dumpster

Yeah, this design is just too polarizing. Engineering-wise, why the need for the narrow intake above the primary radiator intake? Also, is that splitter bonded to the clam?!?! I see spider cracked clams with this design.
