cup car seat for sale

i have a cup car seat, the same seat that comes in 2006 exige cup car.
these bolt the the tub, dont have sliders.
this is a facotry oem seat made by recaro, not aftermarket fake seat.
i purschased it from mark starr 3 weeks ago, but i am too short to make it work in the car. used less than 1000 miles. asking 1400, not inc shipping. seat is in SF, CA.

if you are shorter than 5'8" it's not gonna work. if you are taller than 6', i think it may be too tight. waists bigger than 36" probably have no chance.

if the buyer is shorter than 5'8', why cant he/she make it work? Since the seat is bolted straight to chasis, then he/she can just reposition the seat before bolted to his/her car, is that right?

also, the price is for one seat, i assume? not pair, right?

Ahhhh. 5'9". The perfect height for a Lotus seat.

price is per seat. i only have one.

if you are shorter than 5'8" it wont work. the chassis/tub where the seat mounts to have a sill on the left (the part you climb over to get into the car) and trunny tunnel on the right. those two items are narrower toward the front of the car such that you can't mount the seat forward enough so a 5-8 person can reach the controls convfotable, yes, you can drive it, but not ideal. if you really want to make it work, you can remove the tranny tunnel, or cut into or or cut into the seat.

i suppose you can put pillows behind your back, but then you would not sit deep enough into the seat for the side bolsters to work.

Uh... just for accuracy's sake... we don't have a tranny tunnel.

Not to be a troublemaker but if the seat is comfortable for you, why not just block the pedals? I have the Sector 111 deals on the clutch and brake so I can sit back a little further and also H&T. I doubt that the gas pedal is a problem but it too can be thickened.

believe me, i tried everything.
my legs aren't the prob, i can gas/brake/H&T, but i can't turn the str wheel well on track. my arms is FULLY extended and maybe even hyperextended on the wheel. after a day on track, i can't move my arms and my shoulder blades feel like they are falling off. i resolved that prob by putting some pillow behind me, but then, i am sitting on the seat as opposed to sitting in the seat such that the side bolsters aren't working the way they should....

Could you post some further pictures showing the fit inside the tub of the car? I am interested in seeing how the seat sits in the car, only lower than the one you included above. I am interested in a seat like yours.

You need to lay off the weight training Nick if you get any stronger you'll be able to press your Elise. On the other hand next time i'm at the track with you instead of jacking up my i'll have you lift it..carl

the seat mounting brackets have multiple holes/position for both forward/back and up and down. You can raise the rear of the seat up which would bring your arms closer to the steering wheel
