FS: BOE Racing Exhaust ST-5

Selling BOE Silent Touch ST-5 Exhaust only 250-300 miles, basically brand new has an amazing note and tone. Please PM me if you have any questions. $720 plus shipping.

"BOE Racing Exhaust, ST - 5
The quietest racing exhaust for the Lotus Elise and Exige that is also suitable for daily driving. 5dB quieter than our Silent Touch and only 12 lbs!

Design
The dimensions were tested extensively with many different combinations of silencer diameter, core diameter, length, and packing material consistency to get great power, great sound, and kill the annoying drone present in so many exhausts including the factory and stage II systems.

Construction
Our BOE Exhausts are all 304 stainless construction with mandrel bent exit pipe and 100% TIG welded. Its 2.5" straight-through design reduces back pressure to support high power applications. They have been tested on cars with 320HP both on and off the race track. The BOE Exhaust is designed specifically for the Lotus Elise/Exige platform by BOE and Coast Fabrication. Click the Additional Information tab for more.

Mounting
Mounted using BOE's proprietary stainless steel mounting rod system. This rod mounts in the stock exhaust hangers. Through several trials, we've arrived at just the right amount of flex (compared to other rigid systems on the market), which allows the exhaust to move, eliminating the stress cracking that has plagued other exhausts. Additionally, there are provisions in the mounting system to reduce the chances of the exhaust "walking" to the passenger side of the vehicle; another problem many other systems are dealing with today. See the Additional Information tab for more.

Rebuildable
Unlike any other Lotus exhaust on the market, The ST-5 is rebuildable. After a couple of seasons of hard racing, you can undo the end cap and rebuild the exhaust with an inexpensive rebuild kit.

Weight
Critical to any racer, especially the Lotus owner. These are the lightest exhausts on the market for the Lotus: Including all the clamps, mounting rod, tip and silencer. The ST-5 weighs in around 12lbs!

Sound
Now we get to the best part! These exhausts were extensively tested for great sound as well as power production.

ST-5
Off-cam it has a deeper, richer sound than stock and about the same volume. No drone. On-cam is still quiet vs the Silent Touch, perfect for folks that want to be stealthy or have their best chance to pass sound at the local track. Very liveable on a day-to-day basis.

All 304 Stainless construction.
Mandrel bent exit pipe
100% TIG welded
2.5" design reduces back pressure to support high power applications."
