FS: Hard top bolts, socket cap
I made some extra hard top bolts. The original Lotus bolts are button head torx.
The original torx pattern likes to strip with the shallow button head design. These are allen head. More depth for your tool and the allen wrench too. ![]() 4 bolts black oxide steel Shipped for $25.00 USA Multiple orders are fine. I can make more. Paypal is lotusparts@me.com |

Where I doubt forever is an option (as we just can't seem to crack that code) and you have cracked many, I will be on the train with these in the near future for sure. I know I have at least one or two of the stupid torq bolts showing a bit of wear/tear.
Thanks again for being this good.

What size is that Allen head?
EDIT: I have my hardtop off the Exige right now, so here's a few shots of the bolts on the liner. They're held permanently in-place with a small plastic washer. Has anyone ever pulled one out before? ![]() ![]()

Looks great Jim.
I'd be down if you do the trim as well. one tool is always better than two for the task of roof removal. I can pull one out and mail it to you if you want. PM me.

I'm happy to do trim bolts if possible. Interesting pictures of the bolt. |

Jim... received these in the mail yesterday, and opened them up today.
Definitely won't have to worry anymore about stripping the stock ones out. Ingenious solution... and very well executed. These are a MUST have for these cars. No longer worried about taking the top off of the car. Thanks.

mmmm, I'd be down for a set if it comes with a headliner bolts like many others have mentioned.
It'll give me more excuse to take the top off!

I was examining my bolts today on the HT & yes, I agree with all the other comments here; it would be nice to have a full set of Exige HT bolts to complete the set. I do kind like the extra security of having the torques in the instance some person tried to get some bright ideas on stealing a top...but...I do like these allen head bolts more.
