Well here is another pic, pretty much the same angle. But the centers are different from wheel to wheel.

Hopefully on the car, there is more to look at without just focusing on the wheels themselves and it's a little less noticeable.

Can anyone confirm if this is the way the Rota Slipstreams are being delivered as well. Heres a shot I found on this board from someone selling his set of silver and they look similar.

The black Rota Slipstreams that I bought from BWR have the oval holes between the wheel bolts front and rear and the center bores are the same f/r.

I'm not completely surprised. The alternate I was considering -- Team Dynamics Pro 1.2 also look different between the 16" and 17" wheels in the center cap area. Different molds too Pics of those have appeared on this board before. All black should be OK.

Anyway, I got my tracking number from Fedex.com today. Next week...

NobuyASU - corrected weights from above post
Correction – My scale is much cheaper than I thought. When weighting the wheels with me on it I found:
16" at about 16 lbs.
17" are about 20 lbs

Thanks for the correction I did not see it. Those differences are much more tolerable. The original weight of 28 lbs. for the rear had me worried there for a minuet.

I weighed my Rotas, and the 16" rim is about 18#. The rear 17" rim is about 20#. I also weighed these relative to my own weight on a bathroom scale (3 times each, taking the average).

BTW, what tire sizes are people planning? My current plans are to run 205/45-16 and 245/40-17. These sizes are 1.7% and 1.0% faster than the stock LSS 195/50-16 and 225/45-17, respectively (speedo error). The diameters are 23.3" and 24.7" F/R vs 23.7" and 25" for stock LSS.

The other option was 205/45-16 paired with 235/40-17 (the latter is 2.3% faster / 24.4" diameter). What i don't know is whether the offset on the rear rim (35mm) is pushed towards the fender enough (only 3mm relative to stock) to allow the wider tire (need 10mm by simple calculation; since the 245 is 20mm wider than stock 225). If the 245 were to rub on the fender liner, i realize that i can get a 4.8mm spacer from BWR (but i tend to avoid spacers whenever possible).

Oh, these sizes were for Toyo R1R's. I noticed that the Azeni 615 only came in 215/45-16 and 235/40-17. The R1R doesn't seem to come in 215/45-16. Before anyone chimes in about R888's, i already have an unmounted set for my LSS rims that will go on after i powder coat the LSS rims black.

Woo Hoo! FedEx Clause came delivering packages from his big white sleigh today!

Wheels were packaged great!

I got the "carbon" caps. If anyone got the flat caps please post a picture. Since I want to make custom black and orange Lotus centers I think I'd prefer the flat ones so would probably trade. If not perhaps I'll rattle can the printed carbon matte black and make a set for these.

I have an accurate to 50 lbs postal scale. The scales at the post office are usually within an ounce to what mine has said. Real weights (without center caps which are 1.2oz each) according to my measurements are:

19lbs 11oz for rear
17lbs 8 oz for front

The stock, standard wheels are quoted (I believe from S111's site somewhere) as:
21.05 rear
15.20 front

And LSS wheels are quoted from the same source on the sheet I have as:
16.10 rear
13.35 front
(both noted as "painted version"

Eventually when I get around to tires I'm probably going R888's. What tires and sizes are you guys running on them?

My wheels are scheduled for delivery on Friday. I had Wheeldude mount and balance the following tires for me. So they should be delivered to put right on my car!

215/40R16 KUMHO V710
225/45/17 KUMHO V710

Ohh can't wait and those weights seem much more tolerable. For tire sizing I bought some RE01R's and went:
205/45R16
245/40R17

I went with RE01Rs as well, the same sizes as cd4age. The wheeldude mounted and balanced them for me.

This will be my daily driver setup, in black, and better tires for the rain we get around here. Considering how "affordable" these wheels are (relatively), the specs are quite good. Saving the A048s for better use.

BM, mine are arriving tomorrow by Fedex. I've had the tracking since last Friday. Did you not pay the balance? Give them a call, they've been really helpful.

BTW, the wheeldude confirmed that the CF wheel caps are in my shipment.

I specifically asked for tracking when I paid for the wheels and tires, and he had my email because that's how we corresponded previously.
