Got mine today, but am waiting to mount them. I had a tracking number, I also requested one when paying the balance.

Yes I probably will. I can a custom color to match your car. Mine will be getting black and orange. black/krypton, black/red, black/yellow etc would look pretty sweet on the matching cars. If I keep the "carbon" centers I will most certainly be painting them matte black. I think the printed carbon really cheapens the look of an otherwise great looking wheel.

Double check that the non-CF caps will clear the rear axle. The CF caps stick out more, like the OEM caps, and clears OK.
I'd probably just go for the standard yellow-green Lotus logo for my caps ![]()

Because they are so time consuming to make, and I often get to remake them a time a two I charge $100 for a set of custom wheel centers. They also have a urethane dome over them. There are some limitations on colors and materials I can use on the one off customs. Of course the price drops when quantity goes up. I made a bunch of the black and aluminum centers from a different method and resin because there was a demand for them. The group buy price on them was $40, and they are now $50 on my website. If you can use a 2" overlay and want black and brushed aluminum that is a cheaper way to go. Or if you want 20 sets of something in the same size and color, the price drops a lot from the one off custom price.

Rota Torque wheels-Does anyone run the staggared 17X7.5 and 18X8.5?
Hi, I'm new to the list as I just purchased a 2006 elise with a Hass turbo that I am currently having tuned. I notice the group buy for the Rota wheels and it is a great price but I am looking for a different size.
I just saw that the Rota wheels are available in 17X7.5 and 18X8.5 for the elise/exige. The Dunlop Star Spec tires are available in 215/40/17 and 255/35/18's which would look great and keep almost the same diameters as the stock tires. They look great and would be perfect for a street/ autocross car (I will be running SM2). The problem is, the cheapest I found the wheels was $1500 for the set from a vender that specializes in Lotus. Any chance we could get a group buy for these sizes?? I know I plan to get a hyper silver set but I don't want to pay that kind of money. If not, can anyone give me a contact so that I could possibly get a better price. Thanks, Burt |

Rota wheel pic 17X7.5 and 18X8.5
Here is a picture I found but the tires are taller on the front than I suggested. A 215/40/17 would be a lower profile, it looks like this car has a 225/45/17 tire on the front. I hope the image comes through as I did it as an attachment. I think it looks sharp with this wheel size. What do you think?
