Wow, that's quite an amazing interest in the brackets

If not then I wouldn't be concerned about the bracket. But if you are in doubt then I would recommend to just take a rattle can and clear coat the bracket... I do try to spray WD40 on any alloy parts on my cars, they range from various Al alloys, magnesium, cad type I and II, iron oxide, clear and black anodizing, they will all oxidize over time - especially with the salt and moisture present.
If these brackets are raw Al without any anodizing, I'll just clear coat it before mounting it. BTW, nice job on the design. |

No kidding ![]() I need to have some spares laser cut because some might get screwed-up during the bending process, and some during the brushing... But it seems like I'll be doing night shifts once I get the raw parts in... ![]()
