The silver bracket looks like it is a nice accent of the car, blending in with the rest but still standing out. I can see the red just standing out screaming on pretty much any car color with a black interior, but it also blends in nicely with the red seats...

I'm in California and I received the bracket and instructions today. I probably won't have time to install it today, but I got it! Thanks!!!
I was wondering, has anyone used their radar detector facing backwards? I was going to velcro it facing backwards and then use the rearview mirror to see the display for now since I do not have one of those handy remote displays. And the rearview mirror does not do much in my car anyways!

I'm assuming you're using a V1? The V1 is kind of unique in that it has front and rear sensors. I wouldn't necessarily try it with another brand. Got mine today too! Nice piece of kit, Mr.C!! Looking forwrd to installing tonight.

I installed it today after all. God, it'll be nice not resticking the stupid suction cups back to the windshield! It was a pretty simple install. Well, if you have a flashlight small enough to hold in your mouth and a stubby screwdriver to fit behind the seats!

I used a phillips head socket (detached) and just tightened it by hand. Sliding the driver's seat all the way forward made that end accessible with a regular screwdriver. Also, this is going to be much easier with the roof off in the daylight, but not to the point where it's worth removing the top. This is a fantastic piece of kit!! I couldn't be happier.

I got and installed my braket today. Simple and looks great. I have one concern. I have a valemting so the front looks back and the back looks front. I can see it in the rear view mirror and it is right by my ear. Great, but it looks a little low for out the back pick up. I havent driven it yet. Either way it is a good thing. Thanks for coming up with this.
