I knew there was quite a bit of profit margin in there. I've seen similar kits for about $150 or so. I may be in on this. Care to share who the manufacturer of your ballast/bulbs is? Also is it plug and play?

The manufacturer is DDM and yes, the kit is plug and play.

DDM has the ballasts built specially for them. The owner spends 6 months out of every year at the ballast factory to make sure his ballasts are made to top quality.

Everything is listed on the site, but:

3000k is yellow - Lexus Fog Light Colors
4500k is OEM - White with a slight bit of yellow (gives off the most light)
5000k is PURE WHITE - Pure White, No Blue
6000k is White with a hint of blue - Most Popular Color
8000k is Sky Blue - Light Blue
10000k is Dark Blue - Most likely will get you pulled over by the cops

The higher you get in color, the more blue you get and the less usable light it gives off.

4500k is 3x brighter than stock headlights
5000k is about 2.8x brighter than stock
6000k is about 2.6x brighter than stock
etc.

Are these lights hard to install? I mean, needing to take the front clam off, messing/cutting with wires and stuff like that..

I have been thinking this over for the last couple of weeks. I may be in but im curious, what is the difference between your kit and the H1 kits available on elsewhere on the web? Aren't the bulb shape and plug standard?

There is absolutely zero cutting or splicing of wires. It is 100% plug and play. Remove the stock headlight, insert the HID, and plug in the ballast.

This kit uses the smallest ballast on the market. We all know that space is at a premium on the elise, so having tiny ballasts are a big asset. This ballast is about the size of a credit card, and only about 1" thick.

The DDM kit has a less than .1% fail rate. That means that there is less than 1 problem per 1,000 kits. That is one of the best quality rates in the industry. That said, if the kit does fail, the warranty is through DDM directly, so you don't have to be concerned about me going out of business or anything.

Long story short, the bulb shape is the same, but the quality of the DDM kit is unsurpassed. You are getting a top quality kit and my customer service of being on the forums and able to answer your questions and such.

I am not 100% sure of the bulb size for the new elise, but if it is still an H1, then yes, it will fit.

I cannot take credit for these install instructions - they are from the last GB from GTmotorworks, but the kit is the same, so the install is the same.
