O my.. I wish you offered this sooner. I purchased one of the last group buy kits.. They are very high quality, I was very impressed. I have the 4500 and I like them.

UPDATE: CONFIRMED WITH 2 DIFFERENT LOTUS DEALERS:

THE 2007.5 and 2008 LOTUS CARS USE H7 BULBS FOR LOW BEAMS AND HIGH BEAMS.

Therefore, if you have a 2007.5 or 2008 Elise, you can still participate, just order the H7 bulbs instead of the H1. It will still be guaranteed to fit.

I assume these are low beam only. Sorry if I missed this part of the thread.

I notice in your sig that you have an 05, which means that you would order an H1 for the low beam, H7 for the high beam. If you want high and low beam HIDs, you will need 2 kits.

Stupid question, but what about the small bulb that (I believe) functions as a parking light, but turns on with the low beams. Does this bulb remain stock?

Yes, but I can get you guys LED replacement lights if you would like.

That bulb is unaffected by HIDs

Dave recommended me this one. It's at the very bottom of page 1:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...7.10091&next=0

WLED 6-LED bulb
12 VDC 6-LED Wedge Base bulb (194/168 type)
With built-in voltage regulator
$ 2.79

Make sure you choose white in the drop down... or blue if you wanna go that route. You can use it as your dome light (check the last picture of this post) so you might wanna pick up a 3rd one.

Yep, that is a good bulb. Go with that one.

Add me to the list. 35w, 4500k.

Any idea on when they ship out? I'm in SoCal and I'm hoping to install them on one of my next days off (Wednesday or Thursday).

would you then say the brightest, most usable light is the 4500 with the 55w upgrade?

OK, here are a few more questions!
Is there a drawback to the 55W setup? Like too much battery draw?
What about if I want high and low beams with 55W HIDs?
I just can't imagine having too much light, unless I will have everyone flashing their lights at me or will get pulled over.
Also I am running an Odyssey 680 battery so want to be sure it is up to the task.
My Elise is an '05.

Stupid question #2, is this just for looks or is it an improvement over oem lights?

They are a MASSIVE improvement over the OEM lights. I went with Ekological's (a member here) kit, 6000K, over a year ago. If the kit is a good one, you won't ever even really need to use your brights anymore. If the quality of this kit is anything like what Chester has been offering here for quite some time, you will be very pleased.

Do you sell just H1 bulbs? My friend has 2 ballasts that he gave me but the bulbs were H7 so won't work in my 06 low beams.
