Installed mine tonight. It was pretty easy, and I actually was able to get the lower 14mm bolt off the lower front mount with just an extension. A bit tight but it worked.
As far as vibration goes, it's not bad at all. I have craftsquares and they don't shake, even the one that is relatively loose. Shifting is improved, a lot crisper and it doesn't feel like the engine is going to jump out of the car like before. Good stuff. |

Can someone confirm the torque values for all the bolts? Can't find it in the service manual. Thanks.

Payment sent (finally).
I'm getting tired of my Larini banging into the Euro grills over some of the bumps near my work. My PPE header is very well braced to the engine so it's transmitting all of the energy into the muffler section where it can rotate on it's flimsy mounting rods ![]()

You can fit a Craftsman 3/8 drive ratchet and standard socket in that hole for the front 14mm bolts, no problem. A torque guestimate is probably the best you'll acheive. Check them after awhile to make sure they don't back out.

They are a set of of adapter "sockets" that you insert into the wrench (hopefully a GearWrench ratcheting box end wrench), and then attach a socket to the adapter. Then you use the wrench just like a ratchet (the knurled top of the adapter allows you to spin it with your fingers as necessary). It makes for a very low profile - although not quite as low as that shown in the photos.

I have a small problem with the mounts - my LEFT hand speakers (front and rear) have become intermittent. It's probably that the connection on the back of the radio is loose.
I've got to find my radio hook retriever thing... it's never been out of the dash... yet.

I just ordered a set in red. I think this is a must for anyone with an Exige S. I've got a nice little ding on the top of my intercooler caused by the mounts allowing excessive engine travel and jamming into the "lid bone" (for lack of a better term.)

Mike, I fitted my set last night with my mechanic (actually I watched him do it), easy and perfect install !!! Parts fit great.
Had a drive last night, just slightly more vibration at idle, but the shifting is MUCH improved !!! As my car is komotec'ed, lots more weight in the engine, so engine shifting was pretty bad before. Can feel power is not wasted and gets to the wheels quicker. Fantastic product. my mechanic commented replacing the side mounts weren't really needed. These front and back mounts do the job already ! GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT VALUE !!!
