I'm in. What does it take to install? I'm not super mechanically inclined, but I know my way around a shop.

The engine mounts should help a lot with taking stress off the exhaust. I have the ForcedFed engine damper and even with that, the torque from the turbo would sheer the bolts off that attach the turbo to the exhaust pipe.

My fix, which has worked very well to date, was to remove the catalytic converter and install a 3" braided flex pipe using v-clamps. Making it this way makes it easy to take it on and off if you need to have the CAT on for emissions testing, etc.

This modification has allowed an adequate amount of "give" on the exhaust. I also drilled out the 4 rubber mounts that the exhaust hangs on with a 1/2" drill bit, they were way too tight and would bind.

I'll post a pix this afternoon.

Also if you are concerned with getting a lot of the stored heat out of the rear of the car in the exhaust area, remove the left wheel well liner. It works great!

I'm in.

Along with the Stan shifter mod, S111's re-enforcer, and the FF damper, I'm hoping these mounts address the Elise's biggest weakness, IMO, shift feel.

I'm in but like others have asked (for us not so technical), what is involved on the install? Can I do it myself? How long?
