[SOLD] Testing Waters: Brand New 2bular Full Exhaust System for 2007 Exige S

Name: JP
Location: Bay Area, CA - Cupertino area
---

Hello & Happy Holidays!

With the holiday season here, along with some other important priorities that just came up unexpectedly, I've decided to test the waters for the remainder of the month & post up my brand new, full 2bular Exhaust System.

I worked with Jim on this around the same time last year & received the setup from what I can recall, around early January 2012. It's been sitting, waiting to be installed once I acquired a custom KF tune. I dont have that tune yet...

I can provide more details over PM to those that are seriously interested. But essentially the kit consists of these parts below.

It was made for my 2007 Exige S with clearance for the 07 diffuser with the ribbed structural support that was added later in the year. So it will work with any model 2007+ diffuser. I was going to run this with my Difflow Railer Jr anyways, but I wanted to have the option in case I ran my OEM diffuser & I didnt want to remove the ribs/structural support which are riveted on.

The header is designed for S/C application only, not N/A. However, I believe the race/sports cat + exhaust can work on any Elise/Exige whether N/A or S/C.
---

PARTS:

1. Exige S GT3 Exhaust with the Burnt Slashed Tip Option (extra $): Details
The size of my system might be a little different from what is listed on the site. I'll have to double check my emails with Jim, but it is very close to what is listed on the site if not identical.

2. Exige S 127mm Diameter 200cell Sports Cat: Details
This unit was Jim's test unit that he used on the bench with very light use. Its practically brand new, but Jim offered this unit in my package at the time as he didnt have any readily available & to cut down on the cost of my full setup.

3. Exige S Revised Design 4-1 Header/Manifold: Details

4. Adaptor to Factory Header/Manifold: Details
Purchased this so that I could run the system with the factory header, I was planning on doing this with the factory tune but never got around to the install. Jim mentioned to me that you won't need any tune if you're not fitting the 4-1. The OEM ECU will re-tune up to 15% to cope with the increased flow, so you'll be fine.

5. Flange to bolt on 2bular Header to Factory Cat:
This is not listed on his site & was a custom request for my package. In the instance I wanted to run the factory cat with the 2bular Header, I wanted this easy install option.
---

PRICING:

1. Grand Total of these parts listed on the site = £1520.00

2. Converted to US$ (12/17/12) = $2461.03
*This does not include international FedEx shipping costs, customs taxes & any international fees when paying - that was another couple of hundred dollars or so from what I can recall.

3. Finally, there is no wait time - instant gratification for your $$$

4. Asking price is for local pick-up only, for now: $2000 cash OBO

I would like to avoid shipping as its rather bulky but I might reconsider if all shipping costs are covered via FedEx, if purchased this week (USA only, no international shipping).

Just wanted to make it clear to those Elise owners that the race cat + exhaust will work with N/A applications. It is the header that is for S/C in specific.

You would use the adaptor listed as #4 to connect your factor header to the race cat.

I dont see why it wouldnt; the header is for S/C application. Of course, as with any FI changes - you will want to adjust your tune. Calling Phil at BOE & inquiring on this will give you the most accurate answer.

But in short, I believe it should work and you must adjust your tune after the install.

it will work , but you need a retune.

I gained 25whp with this setup. 35whp with a decat.

What kind of tune did you use with this setup?

decat was with Gotham 300 (2-11 tune) (requires RLS IC and cup box also)

sport cat was with Charlie's 2bular header tune.

JP, willing to split up? I am interested in only the flange-cell-exhaust, don't need the header.

Hi there, sorry not certain if youre asking about the Race Cat or the actual Exhaust? In any case, I would like to sell in the order below if I was to part:

1. Whole Unit
2. Header + Cat
3. Exhaust + Cat
4. If both header/exhaust are already sold & cat still remains then will sell solo

Hope this helps, thanks

Guess no one wants to pay $400+ less than what 2bular would charge and wait at least one month less for its arrival?

Let me take a look at funds when I get home tonight. Sold my soul to RLS last week and if I buy one more part the commander is going to toss me out. I need to come up with a covert plan.

Testing Waters: Brand New 2bular Full Exhaust System for 2007 Exige S

I'm interested in just the header if you're willing to part out. Need to ship to Australia - I will be happy to organise everything.
