Special offer from Von Hep

As I might have mentioned before, I didn't want to be the guy that sells stuff before it's available, so I've sort of been laying low on the development of my muffler. Well, they're done and I'm really happy with the results! In an effort to get some product out in the hands of the Lotus community, I am offering another 10 day special instead of the usual group buy type of deal.

I am offering your choice of a free Von Hep license plate bracket with the purchase of my cat-back exhaust ($79.95 value) OR a discount of $79.95 off of the retail price of $569.95 ($490.00) for the exhaust system if you choose to use a different license plate kit.

Special offer ends at midnight on Friday October 6th.

I am so confident that I have struck a perfect balance between an aggressive tone and a comfortable interior sound level that in addition, I will also offer a 30 day 100% money back guarantee if it's too quiet, too loud, or you are not completely satisfied in any way. No questions, no fine print, send it back and I'll refund the whole amount. I am very aware that we are a small community and that I need your help to create a good reputation for my small new company.

I know you'll all wnat ot know how it sounds. I've heard a bunch of sound clips and tried to make some of my own, and to me, they don't seem to tell you much. All I can say is that I have heard a few of the aftermarket exhausts for the elise and mine is not the quietest and not the loudest. It has a great meaty tone and burble down low and an awsome shreik up top. I'm hoping this offer will get a few in on some cars and create it's own reputation.

Take a minute to go here first: http://www.vonhep.com/7.html , then browse around the rest of the site if this interests you.

My website isn't fancy enough to process the special, so if you are interested in the special offer, send me an e-mail with your info and I'll get it handled for you. info@vonhep.com

Key Features:
-2.5" Stainless Steel Inlet/Outlet Tubing
-2.25" Perforated Stainless Steel Core
-4" x 5" Oval Stainless Steel Shell
-9.25 lbs. Total Weight Including All Hardware

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

Very nice; good job. I wish I was in the market for one; will you consider making one that fits a 3" exhaust? If so, I might be interested.

I know you said you were small, any chance of a dyno as well ? I'm not interested in hp gain, but I am interested to see if there is any loss... and I'm not sure how prevalent that is with the elise's backpressure happy engine...

Regards..

Wasabi, I will try to get a clip up tomorow. I grew up in Danville, that area has sure changed since I left in 1985. Been there long?

I will try to get a dyno done too, can't promise how soon.

I'll be a guinney pig, but how do I take the discount? Automatically uploads PayPal with the full price. Already bought a license bracket so no need.

I am wondering if those screws are likely to stay on?

Moto, Very nick kit. BTW. What is the black material on those two big loops (hangers)? They look like rubber, but that can't be true since you are using it to support the muffler.

Thanks Megatron, Black material is a high temp silicone Rubber. Good to around 1000 f. It's a proven method on this type of hangar.

Well here's my feeble attempt, it's just from my digital camera on video mode. It turned out better than I thought it would, but I still say you can't tell much from any of the sound clips that I've heard. I tried one from inside the car and you just mostly hear the intake.

That is sweet... and really reasonably priced.

Can you get some shots directly from the rear of the car? If it looks good from that angle I'll probably buy one.

Thanks!

P.S. Any price reduction if I provide dyno charts?
