Want to clean up the look of your front end? Stealth bulb group buy!

Ok I'm back with another group buy

http://www.gtmotorworks.com/stealth.html

This time it's for a set of Stealth bulbs. They are a really cool product that hides the ugly orange look of your turn signals.

They are not "ricey" but add an elegant look to your Elise. They are 100% DOT approved and light up with the standard amber when you have your turn signals on.

Here is a video of my car:

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8Q4554AHNLw&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8Q4554AHNLw&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

and some pictures...

^ugly stock

^Stealth'd

Nice and clean look

Price is $25.00 shipped per pair.

Payment info:

speed @ gtmotorworks.com <- Paypal and Google Checkout

PM me for mailing address.

Site dedicated to the bulbs (with easy checkout button):

How hard are they to install? If they are no harder than changing the headlight bulbs, I'm in.

Changing the signal bulbs are much easier than the headlight bulbs. The lenses just pop out. It explains how to change these bulbs in the owners manual.

I've had these types of bulbs on my other car, but it wasn't as bright as the stock bulbs. How do these compare to stock bulbs? Do you have any comparison videos where you have a stock bulb on one side, and the stealth bulb on the other?

I took pictures for the whole install process. I'll post a "how to" if there is enough interest. It's pretty easy though. I can do it in under 5 minutes for both sides. The first time you do it it'll take some poking around and take up to 30 minutes to get it right. If an oil change on the Elise is a 3/10 and a headlight change is a 5/10... I'd say this is a 2.

They looked just as bright to me? The Youtube video I posted is the Stealth bulb, I didn't see any noticeable difference between that and the stock one.

Lemme know. I already have a set installed (took ~6 minutes btw), but if the group buy price is right I might as well have a spare set on hand. That, or I may just have to buy a '08 Exige S 240 to use them on. Now there's a good excuse for the wife.

That's the best thing I've heard all night

"Honey, I bought a set of $25 bulbs on LotusTalk and we had nothing to install them on... so I went to the dealership to fix that problem..."

I've got the Silverstars and they're a big improvement.

You guys will love Bane's stealth bulbs. They blend in better than the Silverstars.

I couldn't have the bulbs cluttering up the basement. Hopefully I can sell the stock bulbs for $71,235 to make up the difference.

The side marker uses a clear bulb already. There is an orange lens built into the sidemarker that needs the be removed. I used a knife and needle nose pliers to remove the orange part, then installed the Stealth bulbs.

Basically, you can only use the stealth bulbs if you modify your sidemarker lenses.

Would this be harder to install on an Exige since the front grille does not come out?

No, there should be a small hole in the fiberglass, near the mesh, which you would stick a screwdriver in to pop out the lens. This is seriously a 2 second job after you've done it once.

10 seconds for me to remove the indicator housing on one side, 45 freaking minutes to do the other
