No. It's as easy as 1-2-3. Just follow the instructions from the manual. I used the other end of a ballpen to pop the lens out. Don't use a screw driver as it may cause some damage to the lens or clam.

With regards to the group buy. Please count me in.

I'm in. How do we kick it off? Whats our savings in the GB versus buying outright? Thanks for organizing this!

Did you get the actual Stealth ones? There are copies all over the place from China. I'll be honest and tell the forum that you can get the knock-off ones on eBay for like $10/pair + $5.99 shipping. Maybe cheaper.

Mine are real and carry a warranty. Retail value is close to what RoadDad posted. Just like everything else in the electrical world, there will be lots of lower priced options to choose from.

I'll compile the list tonight. That should be the kick off (no pun intended )

Pricing will increase $5 after the GB to $30/pair including shipping.

I have had both. I had the actual Stealth bulbs in my BMW M3 and the knock-offs in my Lotus. There is virually no difference. They are both just amber bulbs that have a translucent chrome coating on the outside. It's not like the knock-offs burn out faster or something. BTW, mine are not from ebay.

Warrenty is not an issue for my knock-offs; it's just a $2 light bulb. I also remember having to pay $10 shipping to replace a burnt out Stealth brand bulb that was under warrenty.

Either way, this is a good price for actual Stealth brand bulbs!

I'd join up, but I just bought a set. I got an HID kit from Bane and wanted to give him a thumbs up as a recommended vendor.
