Nice!

And this year they will try to break the record of Ferraris attending...as we try to break the record of Lotus attending!

Larry, are you organizing a group to go there together? If so, where and when? I plan to go, but would rather show up with a group. Maybe Hal will do his thing again at Terri's Cafe?

Well it has become a bit confusing, what is the plan? We have people from OC, West LA, and the valley all going to the toys4tots show on Dec 2nd. I am not sure what is going on..... for me personally I could drive to Marina del rey and go up to the show, or bypass that and go directly up to Agoura Hills and go to the show, If I go with MDR are they going to hook up with the Valley people? Is the OC group going to hook up with the MDR group? Are we all going to try to arrive at the show together and park together? We could do a staged group drive that grows progressively as it heads north I guess. The OC people would have to leave hella early, meet the MDR group who then goes up to Agoura at the usual kanan / chueys meeting spot, we could all stage and then cruise as a massive group to the show & park together.

Supposedly the Lambo gang are doing the same scenario, staging on Kanan then going as a big group.

Del, what about Chuey's at 7:30? Hopefully OC and MDR can also meet us there, and then go as a group. I haven't heard from Hal yet, but most Valley people know of Chuey's. How about some feedback?

yes that is what we had planned minus the Chueys thing but we can always add that, we should all meet so we can all roll in together

the OC peeps meet 700am then meet with the MDR peeps at 8am then we can all cruise on over to the "pre-stage" spot so we can all (lotus) roll in together

we basically need a head count so we can let the organizers know so we can have an area devoted to Lotus

the link for MOTOR4TOYS sign up is on my sig

btw: can i get an addy on the Chueys "pre-stage" spot

thanx

Agoura Hills, Parking Lot of Island's Restaurant and Chuy's Restaurant.
(NW Corner of Kanan Road and Agoura Road)
Take the 101 Freeway to Kanan Road (Agoura Hills). The parking lot is 1 block south of the 101 on Agoura Road.

29281 Agoura Rd
Agoura Hills, CA 91301

Parking lot to meet in is behind Islands, It is 2 miles from the Chuy's parking lot to the event.

There is a Chevron there for fueling up as well.. Other car groups are supposedly meeting in the same area to stage so we might have to be creative if we have a large showing, this spot is literally right down the road from the event. Another Idea would be to stage at Star Thousand Oaks or the new Bev Hills Lotus location if they are interested?

Just checking, but most of these toy-gathering events want UNwrapped gifts. So they know if it is appropriate or not, and who to give it to.

Plus I try not to wrap stuff much.

I did some scouting around, and there are a couple place nearby to stage. one is down is the street from where I live, it is .6 mile street, houses on one side, green belt on the other nobody parks on that side, the when I rode down this week-end at 7:30 (no cars) at 12 noon (2 cars). The street is ShadyCreek, between Fountainwood and Laro, 1 mile up Kanan (N)from the 101 exist.

The other is Oak Canyon park off of Kanan/ Deerhill, a little bit further, more like stop signs and lights could split the group.

Or you could meet at the Do-it Center/ Canyon Club between Roadside and Agoura Road other side of Chuy from Kanan.

There is not much parking at the Silver Star street and is more out the way.

BTW you can count me in, as well.

the official thread and sign up for this event is on the link on my signature

I'm not too familiar with the area we originaly had it ore staged @ chueys but if there is a parking lot big enough to accomodate us nearby then by all means we should meet there rather than get mixed up with other clubs/cars

Thanx

I'm not too familiar with the area we originaly had it ore staged @ chueys but if there is a parking lot big enough to accomodate us nearby then by all means we should meet there rather than get mixed up with other clubs/cars

Thanx
Do-it Center Parking Lot is 5 times bigger than Chuy's, and is less than 2/10ths of a mile away.
