If we want to do the karting I will need a head count ahead of time and we all should try and arrive by 8:15 ish.

I'm confirmed for dinner and karting on Friday.

I should add that that the enduro might be to much for people who haven't karted recently - maybe we should just do a regular 20 minute race instead?

I can't do Friday (going out of town on Thursday) but I could do dinner/carting on Tue or Wed night or we could have another Lotus lunch Mon/Tue/Wed next week (13th/14th/15th). Why not do that AND Friday?

Anyone in? Loved the meet at "The Counter" burger place at Santana Row.

I will also gladly show off my new FF275 install and its associated exhaust

BTW, I second that if you haven't carted before, an endurance race is a bit too much.

Agreed that enduro race is a bit hard on the body, but for just $10 more dollars you get an extra 30 minutes of kart time. The regular 20 minute session is $50 whereas the 50 minute enduro session is $60. Also, it takes a little bit of time to get used to the karts and track which makes the 50 minute session nice. I'm open to whatever everyone else feels best though. BTW I would love to see your FF 275 car and possible catch a short ride around the block if I could be so lucky.

Can't make it, but karting is in burlingame so Santana row is pretty far away. Palo alto is halfway there. Downtown san mateo may work but not too familiar with parking or restaurants

I used to live up north...but not familiar with where the karting is...

Maybe if we had dinner in San Mateo more people from up north could come...esp. if the karting is in Burlingame.

I'd really like to see the FF275....maybe we could meet up wed. as well!

Friday Night Karting

The GGLC is booking GoKart Racer for Friday 10/17 evening. Who's in?

We will need to finalize a headcount by next Thursday.

Cheers,
Kiyoshi

I definately am in and would like to bring a guest with me if that is ok as we had planned to go there for the weekly enduro before this event was planned. We try and make it there at least 2x a month. From past experiences, they will accept up to around 12 people on the track for experienced karters, possibly more if we can do the full track. If they will allow you to book a specific track, the monza track is the more technical of the two and is actually easier on the body for an extended race.

I'll post details, but for now we've got a block at 8:30pm for qualifying and race. The GGLC will have a very brief meeting afterwards.

Did you happen to book the block for a regular session or the enduro, and on which track. Thanks

We've not made a final commitment/request. Only that we'd start at 8:30 (need to arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior).

Requests/preferrence?

Kiyoshi
