Bay Area (SF) Lotus Rally - March 2, 2008 - LotusTalk

It's been a while since I've seen you all. I've been up to a lot. I finally found a date for this shoot I promised last month. Sunday, March 2, 2008, 2pm. The location is in Alameda. I will email directions to those interested.

My friend eshuan has volunteered to do the photography. Below is some of his work. He's a huge Lotus fanatic and is hopefully getting one in the future. for now he prefers his M3 because he can stick a bike rack on it, lol.

Who is interested and can make it? Please do not PM me as my box is full. Please email me or respond to this thread if you need to contact me. I'll start a list later of people that had expressed interest before.

Would he consider taking a few pixs of a lowly '65 Elan? Could be an interesting excuse to get it running after resting all winter.

I'm in as long as the weather holds up. I'm up for a bite after too though I don't know the area well enough to suggest anything.

I've got a very old face... and I believe we've met before (but years ago at some GGLC outing)...

If time permits, you guys could stop by Sears Point as there are going to be several Lotuses on track that day competing in a time trial and one in a race.

Bad news... I have something else to do that has priority.

Good news... That "something else" is picking up a box van for the GGLC's autocross equipment. I can get my trailer back!

I may be interested. Lately I've been working 60+ hour weeks and with sunday being the only full day I have off, I may just want to chill that day, especially if i go out saturaday nite.

Not sure if I can make it out for this meet. I plan on making the 3/8 drive after the svag inspection day, and it's hard enough for me to get out once a month let alone two weeks in a row!
So unless I can sneek out for a bit count me out. I love your friend's work with the camera and was looking forward to meeting some new Lotus faces, but the timing is not working out for me.
