I took some pics that I can upload later. Aside from great Jags, Triumphs, MGs and a massive array of old Rolls/Bentleys, there were seven Lotus on the grass plus some others in the parking lot that I didn't see.

1961 Elite
1972 Europa
1978 Caterham (Lotus engine)
2 red M100 Elan
2 Elise

Obviously the Elite won the L class. "Tim Moomey" was runner-up for his Elise. And the Caterham officially has touring wheels.

My wife took me through the parking lot to see the Elises. She commented that it was like going on an Easter Egg hunt looking around the parking lot to find them all. There was a Purple one, a Yellow one, a Red one, a Black one, and a White Exige S...

Obviously, everyone recognized the superiority of Chrome Orange - and I've never had anyone have trouble mispronouncing my name before...

I agree about the '61 Elite... It would have been an insult if anything else had taken the honors...

It did, but you get a thwack just on principles.

I had my camera, but I kept forgetting to take pictures. I've got a couple that I will post.

I had my TR-250 farther down on the lawn with the Triumphs, but did wander over to see the Lotuseseseses. I briefly met Tax Cheat (helped with your show paperwork before a BOG volunteer swept in). Gorgeous day.

Thanks for the tips. It was my first show, so had no clue what to do. Obviously some of us in L already knew how to bribe the judges... ahem.

I only took a couple of photos (I kept forgetting to use the stupid camera hanging from the strap around my neck). Here's two shots of the Triumphs and MGs parked on the very long line:

Since I have a photo of a line up of Lotus (and this photo was on my memory card), here's a part of my collection of Hot Wheel size Lotus:

Here are my Lotus line pics.

Yes my Caterham may having touring wheels, but as I said I felt I could go for the style pionts since I don't have all that pesky body weight (or side windows, or top, or doors, or....) on the car.

Early in the day there were two Series 2 7s in the parking lot, I saw many Elise float through there during the day. My friend owns the Exige S, has had two weeks-1500 miles. They had the full 200 cars registered so they would not let him join the show. Funny thing is is the service writer where we take all our cars for non-warranty work and always harrassed me about my Lotus fetish. And at least I know where the few grand I have spent there this year went.

The Elite did deserve the win. And Tim did you read the program they sort of misspelled your name...

Finally would have had the Europa there also but no one stepped up to drive. May need a driver for one or two cars on June 3 (if I am not stuck traveling)

Nice pics of my car Tim. You must of taken them while people were trying on the car as the tonneau is open. Now not only will I get the touring wheels comments but I will get the Isuzu dash plaque comment to. (Of course that is my red Isuzu--oh sorry Lotus in the back ground)

Taxcheat -- no worries, man. My pleasure. You're now an expert!

I didn't take too many photos, but here's one of the line-up of TR-250s. Five showed up, and mine is the Green car -- third car in from the left.

Just for fun, I also took a couple of shots of the Triumph and the Sunbeam together when getting ready for the show. I think this one is cool!

Hope to see some more folks at Lillyponds!
