Coronado Speed Festival

It's getting to be that time of year again.
Coronado Speed Festival Sept. 26-29.
If you want window passes for your Lotus to get in the Car club area behind the main grandstands please PM me and I will send you one. You will still have to buy admission tix for the occupants of said Lotus - you can find those at the Coronado Speed Festival website.
We should get the passes in August.
Thanks, Arne

Arne,

I'll take a pass. (PM of address sent).

I come back from vacation in Canada two days before the event. But it'll be worth the drive out to SD for that weekend. I've never been.

Should we try to meet - pre event someplace in San Diego on Sat and arrive/park as a group? Or will there be a Lotus section in the pass area?

Coronado

Meeting beforehand would be fun. At the event they reserve an area for us - I think we were by the Opel GT's and MG's last year

Just got the pass thank you very much for sending these out ! I bought 2 - 2 day tix this morning and last night we booked Fri & Sat night at the Loews Coronado bay hotel , just south of the Hotel Del for get this -- $99 a night !! Priceline !

I have never been to the Speed Festival before but it sounds like it is going to be a great time, not sure where the best areas to watch the races are, or when they occur. The Military planes static display sounds cool as well ! I don't know the area well enough to recommend a good place to meet before the show, but maybe we could meet someplace on the actual Island near the base?
