You know that Mohegan Sun has a world class spa. Also there are some other really fancy spas in the immediate area of the cassino's too.

I know. She is going to the Norwich spa. Unfortunately that leaves me with the two little ones. I'm pissed because I missed the last run in CT. Now I will have to miss this one too. I've put a total of 1500 miles on my car so far this season, and its almost over. I'm itching to get out for a drive!!!

OK, I'm getting the impression I'm the only one staying overnight! Anyone else stopping over?

I know it's late notice, but I may be interested in participating. Now that my car is running okay with the turbo, I'm trying to get my mother to come down and watch the kids for the weekend so my wife and I can join in the fun. I'm not sure if it's possible yet since my mother usually works weekends. I'll know by tomorrow afternoon if she can take the time off. Sounds like fun and looks like great weather.

Looks like we are going tohave some great open top weather for the run!

9 am we all meet at HRM's new Lotus of Greenwich Showroom

249 railroad Ave
Greenwich, Ct 06830

Mark Star and his group have graciously offered to supply Bagels and Spread for everyone.

We depart around 10 am

We will then commence on the twist scenic back roads of CT & NY making some stops along the way.

We then arrive at my house around 12pm for some rest and a snack for a while.

When everyone is all set we then take off to the Mohegan Sun Casino which is about an 1:45 ride. We can then meet/eat/gamble etc. We will make all other arrangements and meetings when we get to the Casino. I would suggest that we all park in the indoor self parking garage.

For those wishing to stay in the area over night, the casino hotel is completely booked, but the surrounding hotels have availability. You can contact the Mohegan Sun for other Hotels in the area. That night there will be a Beatlemania Band playing and also Eric Clapton will be in concert as well.

Late return . . .

Sorry I missed you guys today. I had an unexpected trip to the UK this week and got back late Friday; I was pretty well out of it this morning and couldn't get down to HRM in time. You guys had a great day for the ride!

Well we had a great time. Mark Star put out a fabulous spread for us and we saw the new showroom that Robert designed.

We headed off for a nice run and the clouds dissipated as we drove. My wife snapped a few pictures of the cars at my house. Unfortunately they are a little blurry for some reason, but they still look good. After a snack we headed off to the Mohegan Sun Casino and did some damage. I took off at 6pm right before dinner. I won over $2000 and decided to call it quits and return home to tuck in my daughters. The others stayed for dinner and were deciding if they wanted to go to the Eric Clapton Concert. Also I think they were all planning on staying the night at the Holiday in near the casino. The weather was great and it was the perfect weekend to see the foliage.
Thanks to all that attended!
