Do you do much driving on sunday. I might possible drive down as a day trip.

If your plans are to attend the run, putting off your reservations are not advised

, the Hotel has informed us there is a good chance we will be unable to hold the rooms beyond that date due to the popularity of the season and registrations from other groups. Drive schedules and trips WILL NOT be publicly released prior to the event this year in order to account for the amount of cars on the runs (it was too chaotic in the past with people coming and going

and trying to account for those individuals with dinner reservations, etc.) so attendees will need to reside at Fontana to ensure they are properly informed as to the next day's events and times. We currently stand at 10 cars and 12 people registered.

That's the week of my birthday and as I live in Knoxville I'd just bound back and forth rather than spend the night. We'll see what happens.

If I go so will the wife. If anyone coming has a Magnetic Blue I highly suggest you hide it from her or we'll be bringing home two instead of one.

We have no issues with those folks that live close and wouldn't expect them to stay unless they wanted to, as long as you are planning to be a part of the weeks activities. It was the single day trippers from hours away that were hard to account for. We never knew how many we would have for the days events so it was always difficult to reserve locations like parking and dinner rooms. We are not trying to be exclusionary just trying to organise and keep track of everyone so things go smoothly. Just let us know prior to the event when (and how many) we can expect in your party. See you guys in a couple months

Well so ive got my car and i love the dragon. Unfortunately too busy at work to be able to make the weekday trip. But i could possibly head down for a days excursion on sunday!

Do you do any driving on sunday?

Unfortunately Sunday has always been just an arrival and dinner day. The only event slated for that day is the welcome and introduction dinner at the hotel. We intentionally stay off the road on the weekends because of enforcement patrol (not that we break the law, it just puts everyone at ease not to feel so hunted while driving) and the vehicle population. Try to find the time to join us, you wont be sorry.

, by buddy Bryan is considering coming on his GSX-R. Super rad guy. I'll keep you in the loop on where I'm making it.

Hey Rob, we thought it was gonna be tough to fit her in with the whole six week on one week off thing. That sux, Kristen is gonna be bummed she isn't coming. You gonna make is with out her? Heck no we don't care if others join in, just wanna keep track of the people/car count so all they need to do is let us know. Dad and I were thinking about bringing the BMWs down with the cars on our transport anyway. We figured one day on 2 wheels would be nice since we are already down there, (maybe the Blue ridge run day). Dont wanna break up the band though so who knows.
