I just returned from Japan after attending Japan Lotus Day at Fuji Speedway.

Oh, the day I flew to China. I'm not one for "if onlys", but it would have been so great had I be enable to stop off in Japan for a couple of days on my way to attend this.

Then again, this trip was an emergency one only booked on the 1st.

This is a bit off topic, but can someone please explain to me the need to obscure license plate numbers. What can anyone with ill intent gain from seeing a license plate?

There are VERY strict rules in Japan & HK about modifiying cars and driving them on the street. Not allowed. So everyone protects themselves by not displaying the license plates if your at the track or some other "race car" event. The government is always watching.
