Karting Event For Central Florida Owners - LotusTalk

Hey guys - I have rented out the kart track at Moroso 3 or 4 times in the last couple years. In fact my friends and I booked it again in October. Moroso is class act (paramedics, timing and scoring, F1 style standing stands, etc).

Anyway, I was gauging interest for a group event with us Lotus guys. I am considering trying out Ocala GP for a group event. I have raced at Ocala before, but never rented the facility, plus it is a lot closer to Orlando. Anyway, cost is roughly 150 pp and we would need 10 to get a private event. Let me know what you think!

What are the requirements of this? Karting experience? Lotus owners only? Just a little more info. Thanks.

No karting experience needed. If we go to Ocala the $150 will rent the track for just us and includes the kart and insurance fees. It will probably be a 3 hour event. Kart are Kart Mini chassis with 9HP honda motors. They claim 65, but I think it is closer to 50. I need to get more details if we do Ocala, but wanted to see who was up for it before trying to book it as there is some work involved.

My wife and I are up for it but will stay tuned to get more info. I ask about the Lotus thing because I am not yet a Lotus owner. Will bring the Z4 though

I have called and emailed Ocala 2 times, but nothing yet regarding dates and pricing. I am still on it though.

Mike, I'm interested if you get things worked out for Ocala GP, keep us posted... If we need more people, a few of my co-workers would probably be interested as well.
