I'm doing a drive through Malibu tomorrow. PM me if I don't hate you and you want to attend. Starting at 10 am. The low traffic Thursday thing is too good to pass up.

Great Thursday Drive. 3 hours in Malibu (the usual route) No traffic, no cops. Most importantly no motorcycles slowing down progress. Just me and my SUV. I had to get groceries. Only two strangers spoke to me all day, what a nice change. The mass of the pig is huge, even with good tires (Pilot Sport Cup) warmed to the right temp I was sideways more then I should have been. Although I don't think there is a problem with my power steering, the car feels overboosted. The SUV also feels so slow. Even though it is hard not to spin the tires because of all the torque and power. Light cars are so much more fun.

Anyone who prefers a heavy car to an Elise has to have a screw loose.

I assume you went shopping for this coming Tuesday, as you were to have us all over, so you can show us what real food is. Hopefully you did not break the eggs when you going sideways around the corners. BTW, I took my pig shopping too. Cherker, asked if I had the car up on two wheels and commented a Magnum PI car and the kids outside asked to drive it one asked if it was a Testarosa. I must been caught up in TV land. That is what I get for shopping in North Ranch.

I went up yesterday morning on the usual route.. This is a bad time to go right now. There is a lot of debris on the roads. Mostly rocks, grass, and whatever else is up there. Some rocks were big enough that if you hit them dead on in the Lotus you will crack your front end. The roads are a mess and need a good cleaning right now.
