Two other Elises and I made it - as a special treat, one of the other two was owned by Mark (sorry - forgot to ask for the ETalk handle) which had just been through the Tripoint upgrade

Turnout was surprisingly good considering how late I got there (~10am) and that it is prime shopping season.

Just the usual saratoga/skyline route. went all the way to 92 this time though, instead of going woodside.

I'm not too familiar with those roads, and no one wanted to lead, so I tried to lead. I didn't really go that fast in the straights as fast as some people go. we passed a CHP car but were only doing 10 over at the time, so maybe it is a good thing I led (for the first half anyways). Traffic was light for an 11am drive!

anyone planning on making this coming Saturday's event? I haven't checked the weather report yet, but I will be available to go. Would like to go for a drive afterwards too.

lol you did ok kevin, I've only done that road once before so I didn't feel comfortable leading, and you took some of those turns faster than I personally would have, maybe I'm just a wuss because my tires are almost shot... Damn I got a friend who'd really love a ride in a lambo, but she lives way up in Napa so unless I know I could hook her up with a ride... you know anyone by chance?
As for next time... yeah I'd be up for it again, but I may have other plans, not quite sure yet...

I've met a few lambo owners at SR, but don't know any of them too personally. Best bet might be for her to post in the SR threads on 6speed or ferrarichat asking/begging if anyone with one would be able to

They all seem nice, but I'm sure there are lots of random people out there who have asked before so results may vary :P

I'm really considering the stage 2 exhaust, I think next time someone has one at a meet (tprojl thanks again for the ride!

) I'm going to beg for a longer ride including one at a consistant 35mph, 55mph, 75mph, and things like that. I just want to make sure the drone isnt terrible since my commute is 15 miles on the 101 daily (although I only drive it to work twice a week max).

mark, the tripoint setup looked sweet by the way, I'm sure a ride in that would be wanted by everyone here (i'll get in line)

who did you take out who owns a F430 and said its quick as hell?
