I think he's referring to luis, the local porsche, and most recently the elisetalk member in austin, tx.

kohete you were spotted, btw: http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38693

Yes - Luis, the Porsche guy and the guy in TX. Both are terrible events.

Yes, the recent tragic events should serve as a strong reminder that these casual tours are just that for touring and socializing. We have speed events like the GGLC/Club111 AutoXs and GGLC track days for stretching our legs.

Cheers,
Kiyoshi

P.S. There are 2 tours scheduled in May, the previously mentioned one on May 12th and another on May 20th to the Sierra foothills.

5/12 sounds like fun, but I can't make it.
5/19 will be another tough day for me.
Wish I had made the Mt. Hamilton drive!

claus, have you washed your car yet?!?

Are you kidding?

Actually, I washed it once but of course it's all dirty again. Dirty and with a cracked front clam now, actually

Let's see what I can do before 5/19

Just to re-iterate, the Sierra Foothills run is Sunday, 5/20; and it has nothing to do with the Santana Row show.

Anyone/Who's going tomorrow?

I've been travelling all week driving rentals and I need a dose of "Lotus"! I'm thinking about going and checking things out.

Cheers,
Kiyoshi

Bump!

Any more interest in the run this Saturday after Santana Row?
The run will be casual, but I'd like a confirmation if you plan to join us for lunch in Danville.

I may drive up, but won't be making lunch. As much as I love lotus, I've never seen a Noble, will you be bringing that to SR? None of the SRs I've been to has ever seen a Noble

Thanks, Rob--you're on the list.
And, yes, Kevin I will be driving my Noble for the run. The car was at Santana Row about a year ago when we did a similar run to a club member's home for a BBQ, so it knows the way .

We'll be joining the run

Wife says if I bring her home by 3pm she'll go on a run.

I may drop by for a minute. The wife and I are heading up to the SF farmers market.
If a Noble is going to be there its worth a drop by

FYI, Some pics from this Saturday's Santana Row and the GGLC run can be found on the LotusElanCentral forum:
http://lotuselancentral.com/forum/vi...=9402&start=20
near the bottom of the 2nd page.
About 6 of the local Elises were on the run, and I think a good time was had by all, in spite of some traffic here and there.

Does anybody still go to Santana Row on Saturdays? I'm taking a look at an elise and maybe purchasing it tomorrow. And would like to go to the next Santana Row event if you guys still go.

Joe- I find around 9:30am is a good time to show up. If you make it there 10-11am, you'd be into the meat of the turn out. Haven't been there in a while, good chance I'll drop by.
