Hi guys,

Some of my Alfa and Ferrari friends were going to bring their vintage cars to this weekend's SR. Does anyone know whose Elan this is? Won't you please pass the word along to encourage some vintage Lotus owners to bring their cars this weekend (don't we have an Eclat or two in the area too?) Add a little flavour to our meet?

(I don't have a vintage anything, so I'll have to bring my usual car)

Yes, the Elan S3 FHC belongs to a GGLC member, Phil M. Phil regularly drives his Elans on runs, autocrosses and wins at concours!

I'm picking up my car from the delivery driver at 8AM! But I will need to make some mods (see my sig) and take it to get a smog as well, so not this weekend for me.

What time do you guys meet? On post #420, LarryB says 9:30AM-10:00AM.

I want to smog because I want to reassign my personalize plates ASAP. Plus I have two other cars to smog.

Are people only there for half an hour? I want to put the aluminum headlight trim ring on there at least, to avoid the gouges.

The peak is between 9:30am and 11:00am so it should be worth it.

Beautiful car - now go put some miles on it! Don't know where you work but I have a few good locations for lunch runs and I work in Mt. View next to Google.

Don't worry about the poor showing at SR today - once 2-Y actually shows, it will be worth it (hint: SC and proto exhaust test ride)

I've been annoyed I spend my weekends in Napa now with my gf... though I guess she makes it worth my while

But she was nice enough to agree to come down next saturday and go to santana row with me so... I'd love to get in on a drive, if anyone else is interested! Either way I'll be down there...

It 'll be a good three weeks before I'll make it out. Sounds like the summer weekends are keeping most of us pretty busy. Definitely, want to get a drive in, next time around.
