Turnout has been from spectacular to abysmal - all depends on the weather and what other car-related things are going on the same weekend. I think we will be in luck on both accounts.

Last weekend I tried to go, got down as far as Sunnyvale when dark clouds rolled in. Got back to SF just in time to avoid the rain. Yes, I know, I'm lame, but I didn't feel like washing my car when I just got it washed.

I'm thinking about it. Probably take the R8 or Vantage. Depends on the weather. Might as well enjoy them before they're sold. My Lotus still needs some love so no reason to show her off right now.

I have not read the entire thread but I was curious. Do people advertise their cars for sale at these meets?

I'd like to come and just look at the cars but I'd feel awkward if I was just a random guy checking out the cars. If people were selling I could at least seem like a potential buyer, even though I don't plan on buying until 2010

There was a guy selling his 07 Exige with CF parts galore last year at SR. There are also plenty of random people checking out people's cars.

Track day?

I just finally signed up for my first one with HOD on 1/31 (T'hill). That's one reason why my car is at Rob's to get track ready (toe link brace, new battery, brakes, slot the seats for the 6-point, ...)
