I can't make the Crystal Cove drive on Saturday and so this would be nice - any plans on where to go? (BUT it is the US GP day so would mean giving up the chance to see tha race live)

Milton! You got a car! Fantastic - I was going to email you this week - still have your card sitting on my desk. Congrats! What color did you go with?

I can't make it Sunday (I'll be on the east coast) but will definately be there with bells on next week.

forgot about the race

Shoot forgot about the race! What was i thinking...

I guess I am just too excited to join a group on a drive (even though I am still in break-in period)... I am 4 days into my new storm/black with stage 2...

Well I still what to go for a drive maybe earlier as not to miss the race... We could perhaps do a quick Malibu canyon area run departing @ 9:00AM? Thoughts?

What time is the race?

FYI... Check this out!

I think the race itself starts at 11:00 our time but the main TV coverage kicks off at 10:30 (there is a 10:00am preshow but I think that is a repeat).

Earlier works for me - so meet at 8:30 for coffee and then off at 9:00 as per Milton's note?

I swear I'll make it to one of these Sunday get togethers at some point. Father's Day will be keeping me busy this year though. Have fun!

Did anyone show? I was there from 9:45 till a little past ten and didn't see anyone. I went just to meet everyone and not drive (the autoX and drive back from Monterey wiped me out).

Sorry I missed everyone and hope you had a good drive.

Just Milton and myself were there - sorry we missed you Jacob, we left at 9:00. We went up to Malibu (stopped a while at the Ferrari shop) and then headed up the hills on Latigo Canyon Rd. The road was empty which was fun (and more importantly I managed to stay on it!) but I tell you what, that Milton guy sure drives quick for someone still breaking their car in! Back via Mulholland with a stop at the Rock Store.
I was planning to be back home for the 10:30 start of the Indy F1 but it was so nice to be out I stayed and got back just after noon - glad I did as what a mess that race was (did I call it a race?).

Thanks for arranging this Milton - lets see if we can get a few more of us out next time.

I Hate Mondays.... But I LOVE Sundays!!!

Mike thanks for the quick follow up...

Funny thing... Sunday morning I was at 409 miles... got to go to 6,000 a bit... :-) Love that bit of boost...

Latigo... This road I was familiar with on my motorcycle but I have to say it was much more fun in the elise with a fellow elise the only things on the road... What a beautiful day!!! Perfect weather, wonderful conversation and no mishaps...

Sunday 7/26... Please come one come all!

Plan to meet same location… (coffee bean/Barnes and Noble parking lot @ Glencoe & Maxella) 8:30 leaving at 9:00 and back by 1PM.

Please feel free to call me on my cell Sunday morning if you have any questions 310-849-1183

Milton

PS... Mike is MUCH quicker than I am... Thanks for the "lead/Follow" Hope you get back out soon...

Sounds like you guys had a great time. Good job taking Latigo instead of Decker (and staying on it!!!) I'll be there next week.

This coming Sunday 6/26 ? Not sure if I can do that, I may try to get down to say hello and share a coffee but I have to be back in Manhattan Beach for 11:00 so may have to pass on a drive this time.
