Definitely hold it off for one week...a number of Loti will be at Button Willow.

I'll be sure to tell them about the even and get a few of them to come out Sunday the 20th.

You're wrong mopho. There are a BILLION Elises in LA!

delise: if you wash your car Saturday morn, then go to the Saturday Ojai/33hwy roadtrip, the Elise will be covered by mud, tar, dust, dirt and olive oil by Sunday!

I wish I could clone me and my Elise so I can go to the Ojai run, BW AND the Sunday MDR meet at the same time. But as mopho says...there are a million YELLOW Elises in LA

--Hal

P.S. I will try to make the Sunday MDR meet.....

Try about 150-250 in and around L.A.

And you see one, maybe two a day.

Maybe.

Yellow?

No...mostly titanium and red!

Have them come to Buttonwillow this weekend....in fact, you guys should take a long drive to beautiful Buttonwillow Raceway Park and check out the Lotus Challenge Series.

Anybody else here ancient enought to remember the "Ed Sullivan Show?" He would always introduce his TV program by intoning the word "shoe" when he said "Welcome to the shoe." Until today I didn't think about how he came to substitute the word shoe for show. (Yes, certainly I must be a little slower than many).

Since Sullivan started his life as a journalist for the NY Daily News, I bet he more than once mistyped the word "show" as "shoe." And somebody razzed him about it; and he went on to make it a lifetime trademark of his own.

I cannot know whether or not the preceding is true, but it sounds true. So while it doesn't meet the requirements for a fact, it does meet the requirements for a factoid. (There have been more than a few of those floating around and even originating on <s>Elise</s> Lotustalk over the years, so why not one more? )

Seroboff: May your professional life be at least half as successful as Sullivan's.

Hey Jack - I spoke to the Producer, and depending on time and how many people want to make the drive, they'll head up to BW after the MDR run.
