pix from today's run. nice to see some new faces. there was a deliberately slow moving landscaping truck, which we all had to get medieval on. then we survived the landslide that happened as we came around a turn. i took a direct boulder hit to the front bumper corner which thankfully left only a gash in the starshield. but i'll just say to everyone that it happened at the Handy J car wash

i realized i took pix while morgan was catching up, so his car isn't in the shot. but the mighty orange caterhamster gets enough press on this thread as it is

and of course, the obligatory lunch stop.

If I triggered the land slide Tsunami, I'm sorry. I never saw it.

Rachel, It's funny because the McD that I go have never said a word to me about the cars. They keep it strictly business, just the way I like it. They didn't even ask about the safety camera on my helmet.

Had 3 SUV's cross way over the double yellow lines on Las Flores in front of me today. This was at 2:00 p.m. I'll see if I can find video of it. I think I'm going to give the roads up to them after 1 p.m. Sundays, I think they would win in a head on collision.

What a drive, it was really nice meeting everyone. Sorry i couldn't stay for lunch, maybe next time.

That landscaping truck, what a tosser i think he works on a ranch somewhere on Decker. Thanks to Marcus we were able to pass him. Pulled the what my friends call the "nip slip".

Are you trying to take credit for a natural disaster??? If that's the case, we'll have to change your name from Corvus to Moses...

No those rocks were on their way down well before we got to that turn. If anything, this was a testament to Star Shield!! That's what it's there for, and it did its job!!

According to the internet chatter from the folks that hang out on Rock Store corners, it appears that Mr Ferrari dude is in the Hall of Shame for frequently crossing over the yellow line in the corners, sometimes all the way over into oncoming traffic

He drives with a cigar in his hands and probably drives in auto, what do you expect.

come now, how do we know it's that same guy? i mean, a middle aged guy driving an automatic, red F430 spyder while chomping on a cigar. that's like 11% of LA and 37% of miami

Hi Avi,
It's been a while since we've seen you out and about. How are you doing?

Thanks for the heads up on the show - I can't make it as I am doing the star gazing trip that same night.

If people still want to drive their cars and not look at others, contact me. I won't go to 'Gold Chain Sunday.'

As always I'd like to leave at 8 am rather than 9:25.

A friend of mine ended up with some tickets, so it looks like I am going to this thing.
