Sorry to hear about your dog, hope for a speedy recovery

Took the Elan up to Supercar Sunday, surprisingly good turn out, couple of unique cars turned up too. The drive up the coast and over Topanga Canyon was lovely at that time of the morning, great hearing the noise of the twin cam echoing through the hills. There were a few Elise's there, but didn't see anyone I knew.
Couldn't stay long though, had to rush back for doggie school (it was graduation day)

Sorry I didn't make it out to the Coffee Bean. After not driving the car for over 3 weeks my poor baby wouldn't start (first time ever).

If it's not raining in the morning I should be at the coffee bean - anyone else planning to be there?

Good to see you guys today. You didn't miss much BTW. Up on Piuma there was big rock slide, almost across the entire road, big boulders . Got up to the top of the hill only to be fogged in and the roads a bit wet and slippy. Stopped at the Stunt lookout and started making our way down Stunt road when a bunch of kids in their parents, Audi's, Benz's, BMW's, etc came up on us fast, so we let them go by us (at a high rate of speed). Got around the next corner to see the kid with the benz flailing his arms running on the side of the road- His buddy drove his parents Nissan Murano off the side of the cliff, car rolled three times and down a good 150ft. He extracted himself but had a head injury.
I was able to call 911 and they sent the cavalry. Must have been a slow day as I think every emergency responder in the county showed up, including the helicopter. They even sent the hook and ladder truck.

Cops took our info and gave us the boot, so we tiptoed down the mountain and went and had breakfast

Saw Shinoo's Exige on the PCH on the way home.

Holy Crap! Glad to hear you guys didn't get involved in their misfortune. On my way home I was second guessing leaving so soon and not getting at least a little driving in. Now I'm glad I didn't.

Mopho, your car sounds great. A beast in sheep's clothing.

Matt, can't wait to see your 2002. Great choice of a car.

Yes, today was fun, and interesting, but really cold! Jacob, are you going to Motor4toys? As of now I'll be bringing the 2002 there.

So I got up early this morning, went to the local do it your self car wash and sprayed off my wheels, as I pulled into my apartment I thought ah screw it I know it might rain but my car is filthy so I completely washed my car. We headed up PCH around 11:30 and I saw tons of fire & ambulance scrambling around Pepperdine, I wonder if that was for the crash ?? After all my hard work washing my car this morning it starts to rain around Zuma, I hit Encinal canyon in a pretty steady rain but still had fun. A few big rocks and one pretty big mud slide. I went up to Ventura for lunch and back down PCH, my car was the dirtiest is has ever been grrrrrrr! Did not see any Lotus out and about but had some fun trailing a bright green Lamborghini down through Malibu towards Santa Monica around 4:PM

They probably were heading to the crash, I dialed 911 at 11:08 and they called me back to confirm my location at 11:20.
