I went to Ojai today. Sand on the roads in some parts trying to add friction to all of the ice. I haven't driven Pilot Cup tires on ice before. They're pretty good, I recommend them for your ice racing needs.

I did want to arrange an Ojai drive for this Sunday, but I think it is too sandy.

I'm out this Sunday...

I will be there for coffee and car talk Sunday morning but unfortunately have another commitment for the day...

Yeah... I am not a big fan of ice driving... Had my share of that living in Detroit...

Anyone coming out Sunday?

I know this is for Sunday drives... But would anyone be up for a morning New Year's day drive?? It's by far the LEAST busy day of the year on the roads.

i'd be up for new years so long as it's not at the butt crack of dawn. there are always some neat drives organized on new years by many groups but they're all done by old timers who start at 7AM so they can be done early enough to grab a nap and then take in the blue plate special at the rusty pelican by 4PM.

maybe a 10AM call time, a couple hours drive, a group lunch and then a couple hours in the afternoon? wadya think? and where to go?

I actually WILL be there tomorrow...

I know with all the holidays i admittedly have been hit and miss...

But my plan is to be there for cars and coffee and depending on weather go for a last sunday drive of the year... I will have to be back by noon so nothing long planned for me...

See you there (who ever that might be)???

Additionally, I want to thank all of you that have showed up for drives over the past two years... I have made great friends, have great memories and you all have made owning this car that much more fun!!!

Not trying to get all sentimental... Just want to say thanks...

I should be there in the morning - not sure about the group hug mind you. Remember I'm British and we don't do that sort of thing!

Well, seeing how the original group seems to be turning out, guess I'll be there too. (Depending on what happens tonight, mind you).

Thanks Milton..

Haven't done a huge number of drives, but the one's you've led were always PERFECTLY paced. Thanks for that and also thanks for always being concerned about EVERYONE'S wellbeing on our drives. You're a good man!

Great way to end the year...

Guys thanks for coming out this morning and going on a nice leisurely drive though the canyons... and humoring me with the mid way stop photo op... Sorry... I just thought the "above the clouds" thing was pretty cool...

Anyway, thanks again for making another year of lotus ownership memorable...

Whatever you are doing tomorrow night be safe ... See you all again in the new year...

Good times and it was nice meeting all of you. The roads on the west coast sure beat the ones on the east coast.

(Next time i'll bring my Elise so I can be part of the group picture, too)
