Heh, so did anyone get up in the Malibu canyons today? Oh, my name is Eric, I came on a drive one time about a year ago (CO Exige) and then I fell into the ether.

There was an insane group of Lambos, Ferraris and Carerra GTs....5 of those to be exact.

I hope to meet up with you guys next time ya'll meet and drive. I didn't see even one other modern Lotus up there. Saw 2 kick ass Elans kinda tricked out though, neat.

We were up there. The two Elans actually met us for coffee in the morning. I was a little disappointed that they decided to go off on there own. I was looking forward to seeing how much faster Mopho's car had gotten compared to the way it was at the WCLM. I'm sure it's a rocket now.

I drove it from 1:15pm to 1:40, Cornell, to Mulholland down Decker. Had to drive my son to his gf house in westlake, asked him which he want to go, agoura to westlake or bwo mulholland. He said mulholland. I wanted to take it back that way too, but I had just bought 10 rose plants for the front yard, that I wanted to plant before it got dark. Only saw an old jaguar I passed at look-out, and red BMW on rockstore which gave me the thumbs up.

But it too nice of a day not to take it out.

Additional, when I brought the car to get the rear light module replaced, they told me there was an update to the engine program, which they installed. Big difference, acceleration is smoother and faster. At the higher rev's I had feel the rear slightly break loose, when I can not get it to break loose before. My son also noticed the difference.

Can you be more specific about the "update to the engine program?"

How was your drive Jacob?

We had to get gas and drop FunElans BMW off up in Malibu, so figured it was going to be too much trouble to go with you guys (not to mention there was no way we would be able to keep up with Ronin)
The gas station stop was fun though, not only did we see Eric, but some guy showed up in a 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Zagato Now that's not something you see every day. He was just out for a cruise, he said

Quite a few cool cars up there, saw the aforementioned lambo, ferrari, carrera GT group. also saw a beautiful Lotus Cortina, A spectacular Ferrari Dino a black Enzo and a heavily modified 993 Turbo and the usual gaggle of F430's, 911's etc.
Even saw another Elan (BRG) on the PCH, have no idea who it was.

Saw Avi at the Stunt rd. lookout and Kaz on the 10 on my way home (mostly saw the giant wing over the divider)

Great drive!!

yeah it was a great drive. But I have to mention I was in Mopho's car the whole time! That car is so fast! Oh, and that Alfa was just gorgeous. Thanks again for the ride Morgan.

Great Drive...brought my dad out and he loved it. We saw a black F Enzo on the way home, not to mention just about every other semi common exotic (F 430, Gallardo, Bentlys, etc) in LA.

I went out today, from 5:00 am - about 3:00 it was killer, a little mud, some rocks but otherwise Amazing. Latigo & Little sycamore were the best & Mostly Dry. Las Flores sucked. Future fyi: waay too much mud to drive on post-rain

Perhaps Next Sunday?

The weather looks a bit iffy for the morning so I may skip this weekend and until football is played with a round ball like the rest of the world I think I'll pass on the Superbowl bash as well. Have fun everybody.
