Conan is awesome. Don't know why he's coming out here. They should keep his show as-is in NYC and just air it at 11:30. He's going to lose the band, writers, announcer...

The first time I went, that was my main goal to see that car.

p.s. Strange thing, we are somehow now involved in a deal with Carroll Shelby and Jay as a middleman. We shall see if this works out to anything.

The band is coming, Joel (the announcer) isn't. Andy Richter is coming back. Writers are a dime a dozen in LA.

Conan is going to do his show on a new stage out of Universal Studios.
(NBC-Universal sold the NBC Studios lot to a private developer last year, so they're moving most production to Universal in the coming years).
no idea what kinda parking spot Conan will get out there, but it'll probably give his show plenty of opportunity to take advantage of all that Universal has to offer.

However, since Universal has only a given number of stages, NBC apparently plans to keep Jay Leno at NBC Studios in Burbank, so he might stay in the same spot there.
But rather than re-use the existing Tonight Show stage, it's rumored they may shoot it out of the former stage where they used to shoot the Ellen show, on the other end of the lot. - so it's uncertain where he may park his cars if that occurs.

The main reason to do the show out of LA instead of NY is simply for the fact that there's more celebs out on the west coast, and less conflict with that other show in NY as well. plus 3 additional hours to keep jokes current.
