Mid Valley Meet - Corvallis, Oregon

We will be meeting up at the Reser Stadium parking lot in Corvallis, Oregon to go on a fun twisties drive up to Marys Peak and then back to Woodstock's for pizza in the evening. This meet is open to all sports cars, so if you have a friend with a nice car you can invite them as well.

When: Sunday, May 6th, 1pm until approximately 6-7pm (of course, pizza afterwards is optional).
If it looks like May 6th is going to be horrible weather I'll push the date back to May 13th.

Where: Meet at Reser Stadium, in the parking lot near SW Western Blvd. We will wait for maybe an hour and then head to Marys Peak (directions).

Please let me know if you plan to attend so we can get a general idea of how many people to expect/wait for. Hope to see you there!

I'm planning on holding a meet in the Corvallis area late April or early May. There is one member here from Eugene who wanted to get together with some other Elise owners. Since I don't own an Elise I'm making this meet open to all sports cars.

The plan is to meet, hang out, and take some photos and then head up to Mary's Peak for a fun spirited drive.

I'm still working on figuring out an exact date, so if you're interested let me know which days work best out of the last two weekends in April and the first two weekends in May.

I'm only an hour and a half away from Corvallis as the crow flies (as the Lotus flies, that might be closer to three hours

). I could probably come up with the open time on any of those weekends, if you can make the event on a Sunday.

Still a long ways down, I might be up for it. Haven't been back to the Beav-town since '98 when I graduated. Go Beaves, sorry Steve, I like the ducks too, just not as much as the Beaves.

I actually do mre business with OSU!

FYI...went to OSU my freshman year. They cut the track program and transferred to Oregon.

That aside, the May 6th weekend might work for me, as that is also MOM's Weekend at OSU. The wife will be there to see our daughter, who is a junior. (I graduated from there, my sister graduate from there, my sister's daughter graduated from there, and my mom graduated from there. In other words, my daughter was doomed. On the other hand, she seems to be lovin' it.) John

Cause I'm crazy and it was a good deal. I got him to go down significantly on the price because I had to ship it. I'm loving it.

Well, since it's a Toyota, I can understand (in addition to my Loti, I have two MR2 Spyders).

1) I went to OSU my Freshman year...until they cut the track program.
2) I would never say no to my own kids going to OSU...I mean OS.

3) I do more business with the Beavers than I do the Ducks
4) I enjoy eating Beaver.
