The annual Motor4toys charity event is coming up again on Sunday,Dec 2nd.

Motor4toys always draws a huge car crowd and more importantly,does a wonderful thing for children.

To attend,all you need is a $10 unwrapped new toy.
Last year we had a good group from Lotustalk attend,and I'd really like to see a large group of us show support.

I'm up for it. Set up some rallying points for us in SFV, SGV and maybe points south and we'll be sure to make a good showing.

Or since he's up in Sherman Oaks, you could coordinate your own meeting spot, and try to arrange a time to meet with Alan et al, if possible.

Oops, looked up the info afterwards and saw that it's up there in SFV... for some reason, I thought it was in Long Beach or somewhere out in the south bay.

Yeah, if he has a rally point up in SFV, we'll meet up there and roll in together to the final destination.

Last year ,we met at the Macy's parking lot(location of the normal Super car Sunday),on Topanga and Erwin .That's in Woodland hills.

7 seemed a little late considering we had a hard time finding a spot to park together last year.How about we all meet at 6:30 AM this year ?

So they are not having SCS that same morning or they are and this is just another event on top of SCS?

Your plan sounds like a good idea. Can they just take $10 cash instead of you don't have a toy to bring? I wouldn't even know where to buy a toy.

Bring toy. Hundreds of cars show up, maybe over 1,000. I will be driving from the 134 in Glendale if anyone is in the same area and wants to caravan. This is another opportunity for us in the "cool car community" to support a very good cause.

I'm in for the Super Car Sunday regular spot to meet.

And I agree, 7am is too late. Last year we did that and then weren't able to find a space big enough for all of us and that sux'ed.

I'm for leaving the Super Car Sunday spot and heading to the event at 6:30.

Would love to make it out to SCS, especially since I can't make the Vandenberg event. I've been a few times over the years, and it's always a great event.

Motor4Toys is organized by the guy who does SCS, so this is kinda like a "Very Special" SCS.

As for where to buy a toy, I hope that's some serious sarcasm. Have you never been inside a Target or Toys R Us?

think of it as SCS on steroids..it's awesome and the location is great.

Yea last year we were hard pressed to find decent parking.

Word of caution!!! they are inverted speedbumps (they go down) slash drainage runs in the lot and they are vicious! many a car smacked their splitter on them--go slow and angled.

I had fun toy shopping..trying to figure out a cool toy, that would appeal to the inner car guy

but they'll take any sort of toy-they are looking for a wide variety.

I was driving up past mulholland on the 405 and passed a Jag XK180 in BRG..convertible..guy in a driving cap, with a handlebar mustache, driving goggles on..and an ENTIRE back seat overflowing with toys.....

Don't think I have seen a Target around here... not sure when was the last time I have been to one... and it wasn't for toys, it was with a girl and she needed something... and as for Toys R Us... yeah, I used to buy toys there as a kid but the one close to us closed down many moons ago and I haven't seen any around where I live or work... they must be going out of style.

I know Wal-Mart sells toys but I don't want to buy cheap China stuff that will break or poison the poor kids.

Guess I can try the mall, they still have KB Toys there, right?

Yeah, but the ones at Wal-Mart are worse than the regular crap... it's like crap that is so bad that other places that sell crap won't sell this level of crap that they sell at Wal-Mart.

Last year lotus cars was all over the place, it's better if meet somewhere then go at the same time that way we'll have our own corral. Saw 340r before...
