I'm bringing my '97 Esprit and would like to be included in the SFV meeting point. Coming from North Hills here. The earlier, the better imo.

Has everyone agreed on a time to meet? I hear Chevron off Coldwater Canyon? Is that off the 101? I've never met up there before. Is that final?

Regarding SFV meeting points: Since it will be ~6:30am and not everyone is German with timing, why not meet at the caffeine supplying Starbucks? It's one block north at the Laurel Canyon exit and I verified they open at 5:30am on Sundays.

Last year we met the Supercar Sunday spot and I think that's a good location since the show is just down the street. The event opens at 6:30 and I suggest meeting at the SCS lot just before that and leaving for the event at 6:30 to secure a good spot. Last year we left at 7am and couldn't find a spot large enough for everyone.

Coordinate whatever pre-meeting spots as needed (like Mike suggested in Glendale) but I think we should all converge on the SCS lot before going in at 6:30am.

I'm good with wherever since I don't drink coffee so it doesn't matter. I do have a gift card to Starsucks though and it will probably sit in my wallet until it falls apart from wear.

100% agreement with Zen. I am in favor for 6:30am sharp departure from SCS location. Blocks of parking will disappear if we become late and we should do our best to strike a good impression for the Lotus community to keep them all together for that venue.

Sadly ,no.We could state on the driven world site,that we are coming as a club,but that doesnt include reserved parking

If there are enough of us,we could get a police escort from SCS location to the event like the Ferrari guys do,but that seems kind of useless considering the 2 block drive we'll have from the meeting spot

The In-and-Out / Minx parking lot off of the 134 / 2 Freeway in Glendale is a great meeting point (for those coming from the east)... Just exit Harvey off the 134 and make a right..

We can then have a second meeting point setup near the 405 interchange if that helps others...


This is a really great event... really urge everyone to come! Always a great turnout as well.

The date's approaching quickly, so someone should nail down a spot for East to meet West so we can all cruise in and park together.

The lot will fill early and quickly, so fewer meeting spots is better. I'm in favor of ZenDude's proposal to meet at the normal SCS spot early to cruise together. There will be plenty of time for chit-chat once we're at the event, so there's no need to draw out the pre-meet meetups to anything more than an arrive-and-drive.

Yeah, SCS parking lot meetup at 6am to 6:30am works for me. We can all drive in together then. But I'm willing to meetup and drive with anyone from Glendale to SCS as well.
