Planning a meet, drive and lunch for Oct 6 (Saturday). We’ll meet at the regular Santana Row (San Jose) gathering. Heading out at 10:30 am for a back road, drive. Ending up at Alice’s Restaurant for lunch about 11:45:

Let me know if you can make it for any or all of it. In particle to get a head count for lunch. Drove the route toady. Surprised at how light traffic was and some of it is freshly repaved.

Larry, I have scheduling conflict due to BMW autoX event that some other local Elise owners will attend as well.
I'd love to go for a breakfast to Alice's. Can we do this Sunday instead?

Ok, I'm screwed. I just got my softball team's schedule and I have a doubleheader that day so I can't make the drive & meal.
Any chance this date will change???????? If not, have fun guys and I'll be thinking of you all!

Sure. There is a bit of a conflict with a autox the same day away. Lets make it Oct. 6 (Saturday)- same basic setup and timing.

I'll be enjoying the F1 Grand Prix in Shanghai live that weekend - sometimes it's tough to be in sales and having to entertain customers

well thanks to the last saturday's rain, my softball league schedule got screwed up. Now I don't think I'll be able to make this meet & drive.

Haven't driven the Elise in over a month.

I can't believe I missed this for a bad day at softball! My mind was elsewhere (the drive) and I played like it! Bah, team commitment. sigh....

It was a great day for a drive. Even got a decent amount of open road.

If the weather holds we can try doing it again. But I wouldn't have a free weekend until Nov. 17th.
