S FL Gathering - LotusTalk

Hey Guys,

As you are all aware, I've been missing in action for quite some time tending to a plethora of business projects and missing the hell out of my Esprit (Blue Thunder!). Some of you already know I received delivery of my Rossion Q1, aka Predator, and may have seen Randy's and Ronnie's at LOG this year.

Well, as anyone down here knows, July-August are pretty dead in S FL, if not HOT!!

I was speaking to some of the Lambo guys and we're planning a last minute meetup, most probably this Sunday, in the Broward or Palm Beach area. If anyone is up for an informal run, let me know. I'll keep ya posted as to what the plan is.

Those of you from S FL or nearby, it seems we're on with the Lambo guys for an impromptu gathering on Sunday. We'll be meeting at the Pembroke Pines Cracker Barrel at 11am, then after grabbing some eats, we'll take off for a visit to Rossion HQ. After that, we'll all be ending up at the new (and pretty amazing!) W Hotel on Ft. Lauderdale Beach for some drinks, party and more food if necessary!

Let me know if anyone is interested, as it be nice to have some Loti along!

I start work at 2p in Miami. I am wondering if I can atleast stop for a bit.

I might stop by there instead of going all the way to Pembrook Pines

Hey, I also live on Miami Beach!! Seems you are an orange fan as well!

Why the heck have I not seen your car around!? I'll be at EPIC Hotel on the River tonight for a friend's party incase you want to bring the monster by. You can head to the Barrel at 11am, eat, then hit Rossion with us for a bit and split back to Miami after that. We'll be at Rossion around 12:30pm I gather and heading to the W around 2pm.

Actually, the purpose of the Pembroke Cracker Barrel was more the Palm Beach guys idea, as everyone wants to DRIVE their cars. No problem though, you can meet us at Rossion probably between 12:30-1pm if you like. Would be great to have you join us!!!

Not that I am aware of, but since the destination is the same, I gather many of you will be meeting up on the expressway... and that should be interesting enough :-)

Thanks for letting me know about this. It was great to see you again. Your car is awesome.

It was a once in a lifetime experience- How often do you get to talk to the owners of a car company in person and discuss design and marketing strategy as well as get to see the "EMPLOYEE ONLY" area where they make the cars.

They were intrigued by the way that Lotus offset the footwell spline so that the driver would have more legroom, and they didn't notice that the rear view mirror was not placed directly in the middle of the windshield. It was fun pointing out strange design things that only true car fanatics would notice.
