Chris, I have seen them twice now. Once on the uphill just out of Sta. Ysabel. They (2) were parked on the shoulder where the road widens out just before the hill tops out on the mesa.

I saw them again on the north end coming from Palomar. They were parked on the outside of one of the turns about 3/4 of the way up to the top of the steep part coming from Lake Henshaw. 2 again with the radar guns pointing toward Sta. Ysabel.

I'm back in town finally.

There was some mention of a Wednesday run, any takers? I'm going to Sector 111 tomorrow to pick up some harnesses and thought I'd make a drive out of it. I plan on leaving about 8-9 from the Ramona area and heading to Temecula through Palomar and possibly Pala. I will then be stopping at Sector 111 to pick up some parts and talk superchargers and suspension.

Let me know if anyone is in. I'll check back later tonight.

If no takers for Wednesday, how about this Sunday?

Also, any SDSD regulars doing the GGLC Buttonwillow Track Day on the 3rd? I'm registered.

I know im not a Lotus owner but i was at Qualcomm stadium(Sunday Sept.16th) with my fellow MR2 Spyder owners and i noticed a white exige and a CO elise pulled in kinda late in the morning, i think...
Well just thought id share a few pics with you guys. Pls dont flame me for being on this forum, have always dreamed of trading in the mr2 for a down on a elise

Anyone up for this Sunday morning? Here are four good reasons:

- Rain should stop by Saturday evening so Sunday morning should be a good time to get back in touch with my Liz
- I just got back from Iraq and need to get back in touch with my Liz
- I just had a baby 7 days ago and need leave the house and get back in touch with my Liz
- Two is better than one, three is better than two, etc etc...

Anyone?

PS: Who in San Diego has the silver Elise with 2 black racing strips and (possibly) 2 red pinstripes just outside the racing strips? Also, who has the purple Elise and hangs out in the UTC / LaJolla area? I see you all the time on La Jolla Village Dr.

The 7th is the last day of the Coronado Vintage races as well as San Diego British Car Day at Fairbrook Farms, Fallbrook. Both great events.

Yea, it is telling

but I was grateful that he actually responded anyway. Thanks!! Even though no one else showed up and I had to play with myself.

Mike, I'm up for this weekend. My brother will be in town and I really wanted to take him on a run. He's got an Evo, but I think we'll just co-pilot my Elise.

I have another party very interested in going, my next door neighbor, except that he has a Porsche 911 Turbo... can he still be invited?

He has admitted that plenty of times - he actually asked me to ask the group to take it easy on him in the twisties, because he knows he will not be able to keep up, and we will all run circles around him.

As long as we stay away from open highways, we should be able to dominate and embarass him over and over again
