It seems drizzle is likely tonight and in the morning. If it's wet then I am going later once it dries up. It would be great for those in the Ramona/ Escondido area to post early before 630am if it's wet. It sounds like a few will be up to watch the GP live at 400am. Go Lewis!

From downtown: 163 North turns into 15 North to Via Rancho pkwy (North County Fair will be directly in front of you as you exit.

Put me as a definite maybe. If it is wet at the beach, I'll go back to bed. If I get dripped on, on the way, I'll go back to bed.

I only watch the Super Bowl on live TV, so the race will be waiting on the DVR.

Pretty much what I am thinking as well. Definitely going for a good drive tomorrow as the day should be dry even if it is a little wet in the morning. The early start would be nice however, it will happen either way.

It's 0308 (3:08 AM) Sunday morning and the conditions are dry in Ramona.

No drizzle here. I'll update before 0600 if conditions change.

Go Kimi. Great to see Kubica on the pole though.

Rod, how did miss that little detail about you? I second that - go Poland, go Kubica, and screw Nakajima for rear-ending him on the first race.

BTW, I'm still alive - had many weekend functions to go to in the last couple of weeks, but looking forward to linking up with the group again. I'm gonna try to bring Neil on one of the runs, he needs Lotus seat time. Plus, Mike - I still owe you brakes. And Paul - which car did you finally get? Any vibrations?

It's Sunday morning Apr 13 - did anyone go?

Late notice, but I figure I'll try... ANYONE UP FOR TOMORROW?
Should be nice and sunny. I'm also up for moving it left by an hour or two - clearer roads and not as hot, for those of us who enjoy the top down experience...

- Mike, I'll bring your brake pads.
- Paul, you should have broken her in by now.
- Also, who's the ardent red Exige S I ran into last week on LaJolla Village Drive, over Highway 5? There was a blonde girl in the passenger seat... speak up!

Maybe,
Two things might keep me, one I have to fix something on the car before I can drive it; if I can finish that tonight than I might be up for one. Second, F1 is tomorrow. I'll post back later

Car is not broken in yet but, definitely up for the drive. I'll just be lagging behind doing the low rpm and half throttle break in. Thinking of leaving around 630am. Not sure of the route but, not sure how long of a drive for tomorrow. It is supposed to be a hot day. I am thinking either another ride to Julian or perhaps something a little closer in and finishing up in Encinitas for breakfast.

Tomorrow's F1 race should be awesome... there's no way I'm going to miss it; otherwise I'd be up for a Sunday Drive.

I would go for that. If no one else comes, we can meet here locally in San Diego, and make a run up to Julian. If other people confirm, we can meet at the usual spot and decide from there...

I'm really itching to drive a bit, last month or two my Liz was a garage queen, with nothing but occasional trips to the mall... pathetic.

What is the usual spot that you meet? Rodney may be up for the drive as well.

The usual spot is taking HWY 15 to Rancho Bernardo exit east and meeting in the parking lot of the strip mall at the intersection of Rancho Bernardo and Pomerado Rd - there is a Starbucks there:

rancho bernardo rd and pomerado rd san diego ca - Google Maps

(link just fixed)

However, if it is just the three of us, it seems it would be easier to meet in the La Jolla area at any time wee feel like it... name the time and the Starbucks.
