10:00ish if returning to the meeting place. Usually everyone just drives to their home from Julian so just really depends on how far you live from there.

Thanks Paul, that is pretty early. I was seeing if I could do this and maybe the Thunderboats at the Bay. I have some systems on a few boats.

It is early for a Sunday but, actually a little later then our normal time. It's nice to get out before the roads get too busy. I hope you will join us.

For those of us that are early morning challenged, where exactly is this starting point? I need to burn off the last vestiges of tread on my tires before getting new ones installed for the drive to WCLM.

Leave parking lot @ 7am, get there a little earlier if you want to ingest some wake up juice

exact route will be up to argument, UFC style in the parking lot - but in general will be to Jullian, breakfast and back...

Mmmm... pancakes.... and there maybe some folks from the local p-car and f-car clubs going as well.

moderate to spirited pace, if you wanna do anything insane , you're on your own!

Thanks for the help Randy, but I'm not that old yet. I can scroll. Lately, Sunday drives are the only reason I leave the Point, by car.

I just don't have any idea where camino del sur is? Name is kind of generic so I was hoping for a city or Lat/Lon to plug into the Garmin. Last time they met up in North County I missed them by 15 minutes, but caught them in Julian at the restaurant.

We could drive up together. Meet at 6:00am somewhere near I-8 and I-5?

My house or somewhere near 8/5 & Rosecrans, to avoid going Sea World because of the Thunderboats.

Yahoo maps says shortest route is up 163 to 15

Hmm.... I'm up for this but it doesn't make a lot of sense for me to drive south to drive back north. I'm located in Escondido.

i have no idea my way around town, but believe it would go something like this....

5 (towards carmel valley / del mar) to 56 east, go about ...5 miles? del sur exit. turn left at exit light (north up del sur) go about ~100 meters and shopping center is on your left. (youl see the shopping center from the 56 on your left.

Yikes!!! 92 miles on the bike. I guess you'll be a little lighter for the drive tomorrow!

Hey...just got back from a hollywood party...since it is near 1:00am, I might not make an early drive. Party was cool though. I got to see Spongebob Squarepants and Kayto Kaelin. How is that for a B list?

We had a fun drive. A bit of traffic but overall nice. I enjoyed the early morning fog in the beginning and then a good breakfast and good people.

Drive back was good, just one stubborn or clueless CRV driver.
