Looking at this Saturday 9, May for an early morning drive. Sunday is normally preferred as it seems traffic is lighter but, with this Sunday being Mother's Day, Saturday will have to do. Who is interested?

Andy, I hope you will be around to join us.

I might be up for it...new to the whole Lotus thing, so it would be good to drive along with the experts!

Very good! I'll post more details as the week goes. But, plan on an early start around 630 am. Our ride will take us to Julian for breakfast but, looking for an alternate route outside of the normal. Will be fun!

I would join but I am signed up for the Autocross novice session on Saturday. I really can't wait for the chance to drive the Elise all out.

I'm in for the next outing though.

Saturday Drive

Thanks for organizing Paul. I'm there for sure. Looking forward to my first drive with the SD gang. I took a solo drive last weekend and had a blast getting to know the car! I just hope I can keep up with you guys...

Yeah, I know it's early but, hopefully the prize will be clear roads.

Lisa, don't worry about keeping up. I am sure you will do fine and we certainly don't want a road race out there. Too many variables on the public roads. Doesn't mean we cannot have fun! It's about good driving roads, enjoying our cars and the camaradarie.

Usually finishing breakfast in Julian by 9:00am. I admit it is tough to get up early on the weekend but, once driving on the empty roads it is worthwhile.

Anyone else joining tomorrow?

Come on where are the San Diego Lotus owners/drivers? I know there are plenty around as I see you all driving around on a fairly regular basis. It's going to be a nice route.

I am not sure. I have some later night festivities planned so it will depend if I can get up in the morning. But if I can, I will attend. Beautiful weather should not be wasted.

So let me say I think so. But if I am up until 3:00am, then I doubt it. But I will try to make it.

Awesome drive today. We had perfect weather and mostly clear roads and a great group of cars including Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, and Noble in addition to the Elise/Exige.
