I thought you'd like that Rus! Take the Camino Del Sur exit off the 56 and meet us in the shopping center, in front of Peet's coffee. Peet's Store:
7845 Highland Village Pl,Ste C105, San Diego, CA 92129

Fly home now Andy! You still have time!

I meant to post this a while back, and this may have been covered already earlier in the thread, but there is a dude that take pictures on Palmoar MTN sometimes; I've seen him a bunch of times, but never knew where to get the pics:
Photo Details

If you click next a couple of times past my non-Lotus friends you can see Hayseed. It really was a nice drive that day!

And about the the drive tomorrow sounds fun - count me in!

Hey - thread hijack! This is the SUNDAY drive thread.

Actually, I would have liked to go this time (a 9am start is nice). But, even though Friday is a holiday for my company, my program is requiring I come into work for meetings and to give a briefing. Sigh.

What a great drive today! The weather was perfect and we had a good showing. We were stuck behind some traffic on San Pasqual Rd. but the Old Julian Highway was mostly clear sailing and Wynola Rd. was wide open.

Sooooo sorry for the rookie manuveur of not waiting at the intersection on the way back and losing a couple of you I'm an idiot!! Next time I take the lead I'll be more cognizant of that.

Anyhow, thanks everyone for a great drive!! It was so nice to see everyone!

I'm definitely game for the morning drive up to Mt. Palomar tomorrow! See you there at 6:30am!!

thank you so much, Lisa, for leaving us behind!!

actually we ran into couple of cool roads. First one is 79 South. Totally empty today with no cops whatsoever. We should try this one. Second one is the road going to Borrego Spring, totally empty too. The only bad thing is that I was running out of gas, so bad that I could not enjoy 79 South.

I would love to do 79 South again (this time with full tank) . I think because people are going to mountains this weekend, that's why the South route is empty.

Thanks for organizing a great drive. Since we ended up doing that one road twice, I decided to head back a different way south on 79. It was awesome.

Sad to see so many dead trees in the Cuyamaca Mountains though.

Exactly! We noted a lot of traffic heading north, but south rocked! Back in the day I used to run 79 a lot.

Thanks for a great drive, Lisa! I really enjoyed my passenger time in the Rossion (thanks again, Randy)! I hope to join you all again soon...maybe next time I will be driving instead of just riding

The San Diego Chrome Orange Mafia takes on Mt. Palomar... gotta love it. Wish I was there to throw in some Stormtrooper Aspen White/Carbon Fiber...

Be forewarned, no soft top fittings on the way home from Palomar or the Mafia may strike again!
