Just picked up my Aspen White Exige S 6 hours ago, and already scheduled for a drive with some fellow Lotus owners tomorrow, how cool is that?!?

Looking forward to meeting you guys.

Paul, I think you know Adam with the yellow Ferrari 348. Not sure if you and I have ever met, but he gave me the ride today to pick up my car in Orange County. See you in the morning!

I believe we met briefly years ago on a mountain bike ride. Congratulations on the new car. I spoke with Adam when you were out on the test drive. Should be a fun morning.

Thanks so much Paul for getting this group together. For my first trip, it was quite a drive, with beautiful countryside and almost no traffic.

Everyone was quite friendly and I look forward to another one soon.

It was a fun morning and group. Looking forward to seeing some pictures. I have a couple to post if I can sort out the sizing. We are pretty fortunate to have the roads we do so close to home.

Thank you for such a fun and spirited drive! I want to begin every 4th of July on those roads for now on. We enjoyed meeting all of you very much and look forward to joining you for another drive real soon. We also are looking forward to seeing some of you in Pebble Beach next month.

Thanks Med for sharing Rick's website, those are great pics! Here are a few more from the morning.

Andy, looks like Steve represented the Storm Troppers well with a nice amount of roll....and on his first drive with it no less!

And a fantastic goofy look on my face to boot! Oh yeah, on the downhill corner picture I'm right in the middle of missing a shift. Too funny.

So much fun, looking forward to another one soon!

I'll have to help double the Stormtrooper factor while halving the body roll...

So, I'm back to good ol' US of A. Any body rolling this weekend? Thanks to 10-hour time zone change jetlag thingy, any time would work for me.

Edit: On second thought, there is F1 race on Sunday morning at 5.00 am. Meeting at 7.00 am would be ideal for me.
