Yummy drive today. We have four Lotuses (or Lotis, or Lotus cars, whatev) and two Mazdaspeeds. to Mike (hayseed), Steve (salty dog), Lisa (lotusenvee), Matt (dabears2k) and Matt's friend (sorry, cannot remember his name, I'm old) for joining the festivities. Steve also brought a friend with him, but his friend is not the reason for the poop stain on his Exige.

Unfortunately, we are on tape. Matt or his friend may post it in here soon. If they do, please don't think that red Elise's driver is one clueless idiot. He had water bottle flying around under his feet, and he continuously tried to catch it during whole drive. Cup holder, his a$$. That's his story and he's sticking to it.

Indeed, great fun and perfect weather. Didn't really begin to warm up until we were headed down the hill, and even then it was quite nice.

Got to push the car a little harder on this drive as I'm getting more familiar with it. Heard the occassional tire screatch around the corners, and even apparently had a run in with some mud or other such some substance () near the shoulder, nicely decorating the passenger rocker panel of the Exige with some nice brown accent color.

Car has since been washed vacuumed, looks brand new again.

Looking forward to the next one, thanks everyone!

Fabulous drive up to Palomar!! That Mesa Grande road is a fun one. I'm so glad I snuck out of the house that morning. My relatives were forgiving thank goodness!

Thanks Ilir for the peer pressure ( ) and extra motivation ( ). It was great seeing everyone and meeting the Mazda owners for the first time Matt and Bernie(?).

I'm game this coming Sunday if anyone else is!

Yeah, I guess youngsters are painfully hyperactive around that age. She is like what, 22?

Hello people. This is Ferdie, the guy with the blue Mazdaspeed. I'm having trouble with Premier, so I'm not sure when I'll have any video ready. It was a great drive and really good to meet you all.

Well, here's some footage. There is a lot of empty space ahead of me, so I added some horsey music. Other than that, don't expect too much editing.

Thanks for the invite. But I've got Mt. biking and paddle boarding this weekend. Maybe next time. By the way, I have some good footage of the Mesa grande part. I'll try to get a good cut and post it up.

Sorry, I'm not allowed to talk about it in details. Dealer told me that flux capacitor is a $5000 option, and only really cool people could order that, and we needed to keep it secret.
